One would think little is to be said when it comes to rating floss threaders, but on the contrary, there is much more one would think could be said about this product. With the exception of the expedient order processing, shipping, and very attractive pricing, which by the way were all welcome outcomes after visiting my local Walmart, on three separate occasions, only to find the shelves not stocked--in fact, bare--depleted, as if there had been some mass hysteria that all manufactures were going to cease making floss threaders. On those visits, it did not seem there were some hidden agenda about never restocking floss threaders along with Proxybrushes and other, odd-ball, miscellaneous dental supplies. After trekking to a nearby chain drugstore, there was a meager supply of floss threaders; and, even the lesser brand names were double the price from Walmart's. Regarding the brand--I am convinced DenTek Floss Threaders are far superior to the super-saver brands. First, they come packed in a neat little plastic boxes, which if you were so inclined, you could use one or two empty containers to slip a couple Proxybrushes inside and stuff them into your pocket, briefcase, backpack, or purse, in the event that that proverbial kelp-like patch of spinach becomes lodged in your front tooth and makes you puzzle over why others are staring at you with weird smiles and facial expressions ready to burst into uncontrolled laughter. One certainly wishes to avoid such moments that are tantamount to a male speaking before a small audience with his fly unwittingly wide-open. Also, the DenTek Floss Threaders are amazingly resilient; unlike the cheap counterparts that tear half way through a vigorous flossing session, the DenTek brand holds up to the most ardent and aggressive flossing. I, of course, speak from direct, empirical experience. Flossing, in general, is not high on my list of evening activities; so, I typically approach this evening task like someone with severe anger-management issues, and always to my astonishment that little blue DenTek Floss Threader finishes its job still in one piece. Although the idea reusing one crosses my mind from time to time--it seems preferable to tossing it in the dust bin. However, when one blue DenTek Floss Threader has survived my flossing aggression, I, nevertheless, yield to the guidelines on sanitary matters I learned in Kindergarten, and astutely throw the used DenTek Floss Threader in the waste can. I honestly think the orthodontist should provide these for free after all the money you pay them. Anyhow, they come in little containers which is convenient. These are a must have with braces and any other dental appliance. It does take a few tries to get the hang of it but it's easy after that! Only issue is they unravel easily. I would recommend.

I was recommended these by my dentist when I got implants and bridges. I tried different store bought versions, but these work much better.

I was unable to find the threader floss I had been using. So I ordered these. This threader is better, IMHO, because I get to use my favorite floss on all of my teeth. I have the glued-on retainer bars on my upper and lower front teeth. This slips right under those bars and gets the floss right where it needs to be. I use each one at least twice, so I feel this is a very economical product. I will recommend these and will buy them again.

My favorite floss that had a glider attached to it is, apparently, no longer available. I’ve tried other floss threaders that didn’t work or they were okay. These threaders are sturdy and easy to use. They also don’t cost too much. I may have found my new favorite!
