This thing is neat! The motor is super smooth and has substantial range of motion in the whole XYZ dept. and the DMX control is nice and is documented well in the included manual. The LEDS are bright and even and offer a plethora of effects. The unit is a combo of light plastic and metal, and I unfortunately had to replace my first one because it arrived all sorts of broken in the head, all the plastic was shattered from shipping. Luckily, my replacement fared much better and when unpacked and powered on, performed a quick demo and check and I was very blown away at the quiet nature of the whole unit, and the motor, very quiet. The lights, very birght and fast for strobes etc. Love it!

Honnestly very please with the purchase. Super cheap and great quality. They do the job and I'm very pleased by them.

This is a stage/photographic light with motion. It is extremely bright and can be used singly or coupled with multiple units.Make no mistake, this thing is bright, it does movement with light and can have lots of modes from different colors, color changing and I believe react to sound. It has a cord that attaches to it and the incoming AC is fused. It appears that the tilting function of the unit is magnetic while the pan function could be more gear based.It does have a control panel that allows operation of some features directly from the unit but not all. The control panel is also awkwardly placed in the front of the unit which causes the light to shine on your face when trying to adjust it.It does have a fan which is hardly noticeable but is there. The unit is mainly metal and more open as it does have a fan. Being open like this, it’s not going to be water resistant but none are that’s going to do the things this light can do in motion, color and effects.To take advantage of the most useful features, you must use a DMX controller board. I have another light that is larger and uses DMX but the control panel on it allows for utilizing the full functionality without a DMX controller.I do plan on getting a DMX controller in the future but without it, the most useful functions aren’t available from the onboard control menu. This light has great potential. You will find it very useful if you have or plan on getting into DMX. If you don't have DMX, you're limited.

The only problem I have is that I want to turn off the option of the lights flashing in whatever mode I put the lights in. I am concerned with anyone who has epilepsy. If I can not turn that option of, these lights are of no use to me.
