Wonderslim Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix, Variety Pack, Low Sugar & Low Calorie (7ct)

I was happy to find these pancakes on Amazon. In fact, I like all the protein products by this company and BariWise as they are the same products I got from a bariatric physician I saw for weight loss. It gets tiring to eat the protein oatmeal daily so finding this pancake mix was great. It is so simple to make, simply take one of the packets (the box comes with 7), add 1/4 cup of water and pour the batter into a pan. I make two small pancakes rather than one large. They have a great taste, not artificial or that strong protein taste some products have. I put a tiny amount of peanut butter on them as an alternative to syrup and it makes for a filling and tasty breakfast. I sometimes crave the breads and chewy foods I no longer eat on a controlled card diet and so this really hits the spot.

While this won't satisfy a desire for buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup on a cold winter morning, it does satisfy that occasional time when I just have to have pancakes. I fired these up this morning and was surprised by the good taste and the size of the pancake (I just did one). It took a while to cook, because I took the directions seriously, but it was worth the wait. There is a slight unpleasant aftertaste, but I don't know if it was from the pancakes or the sugar free "maple syrup" I used. Very easy to make

These are good, not great, for a diet product. You just can't beat a real pancake with butter, etc. But these cook quickly, easy to mix, and taste well. Better when you know you are not eating tons of calories and can still enjoy with sugar free syrup!

The product itself is easy to prepare and the taste is good. Unfortunately, the package I received most recently (which was supposed to have SEVEN pancake packets in it) had only TWO pancake packets in it. I consider what I paid for, essentially, two pancakes, to be excessive. I will never buy this again (fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me).

I was trying to find an alternative to the Optavia pancakes that didn't cost an arm and a leg and I thought, "How can you mess up pancakes?" Well, these pancakes did not fit the bill of what I think pancakes should taste like. They tasted like they had a cornmeal base, were chewy, and had a weird after taste with the syrup I put on them. I won't be ordering these again.

I am on the HMR diet, and I was looking to change things up for breakfast when I came across these pancakes. (The HMR diet is similar to Wonder Slim with shakes, puddings, and bars, etc. It is just a different brand name.) The first time I made them per the package instructions. Like other reviewers mentioned, they taste like angel food cake, but they were a little blah. The second time I made them, I added a generous shake of pumpkin pie spice, two pinches of salt, and fresh blueberries. They were EXCELLENT! They were really indiscernible from a "real" pancake. I will definitely order these again, and I am betting fresh strawberries or raspberries would also be delicious in the pancakes. One word of advice, these cook and brown MUCH FASTER than a traditional pancake, so really keep your eye on them or they will overcook quickly.

I have been on Optavia/Medifast now for a few months, and I have lost a lot of weight. I love the program, but it is super pricey, so I have started looking for cheaper options. I love the Optavia choc chip pancakes, so I wasn't sure if I would like these or not, but I love them!! They are super yummy and the pancakes are really fluffy! I even make them in my Dash waffel maker, and they are great! They do have 10 more calories, and 5 mor grams of carbs, but other than that they are very close to the Optavia pancakes. I will definitely be ordering these again!!

Tiny box....I feel like I just burnt almost 15.00. The taste is awful. Wanted to stick to the pan,and I tried two non stick pans. Very dissapointed.
