I was a little skeptical when I opened the box because they were so thin! I can’t speak to their longevity yet, as I’ve only had them up for a week, but I really like them so far! I have a strange room (very long and narrow) and limited outlets so I wanted these to add some ambient lighting. I’m surprised at how much light they add. It’s the perfect amount. My little fairy/garden lights! As mentioned by some other customers, the plug is very large and would not do well plugged in behind a piece of furniture as it will need to stick out roughly 5” from the outlet. (Mine’s into a power bar so solve that.) Getting them up is a bit tricky too since the wires come wrapped around a cardboard roll, but if you have trouble - unwind them like you would a garden hose and that should solve that too. Overall, very happy!! PS: For my ADHD people, the on/off button has a really good spring for a VERY satisfying “CLICK” LOL

I have not owned these long enough to verify their lifespan, but if you want a "magical" fairie-land experience around your home - from starry ceilings, brightly lit colored glass jars, or anything outdoors, these are fantastic. The lighting is soft and soothing - not blinding when you look at them. The warm glow also softens our facial appearance instead of causing unattractive shadowing; who doesn't enjoy this? The copper wire is pliable and barely detectable when the bulbs are lit. This was my first experience using these to enhance decor, patio lighting, etc. and I am amazed at how elegant everything appeared when lit up without having to use traditional Christmas lights. I think they are great. The price is right, and if they only last four months, then I felt pure joy for approximately $3 a month, which is worth every penny to me. Hopefully, they will last longer, but regardless I'm a happy customer. The company is very clear about outdoor usage. I believe the string of lights is safe from the elements, but the connecting plug is not. So, a $2 electrical tape wrap for protection was all I needed. Treat yourself! I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I love that these lights only have one mode- steadily on. With other string lights I have purchased, you would have to flip through a bunch of different flashing modes before getting to the steady on mode each time you turned the lights on, which I didn’t like. I much prefer these that are easy to turn on/off with one mode. We used them on our Christmas tree this year and it looks magical! Was enough length for a 6-7 ft tree. Only downside is they can get tangled easily when wrapping around the tree, but worth the effort in my opinion!

These worked for about a month and then 1/2 of the strand just quit working. It was only turned on about 3-4 times so I would not purchase it again. However, the company quickly responded by my complaint about the lights and replaced them at no charge. The one half of the strand that did not burn out was on 24/7 and still is burning bright! I am glad to get them replaced because they were really pretty and lit up my entire backyard. I would definitely buy from this company again as they are really concerned about customer satisfaction.

Very cool lights. They come on a cylinder and when gently removed the copper wire stays in a coil shape. I taped the strand to wall arched over my door and the classroom door next to mine. The 8th graders compliment our entry way to class all the time. The only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is the plug sticks straight out from the wall and the connecter was warped. I fixed it by heating it up and was able to screw it together. Another cool thing is you can use a Sharpie to make whatever color lights you want. Do it while it is still coiled on the cylinder to save time.

I bought 2 rolls of 30' LED lights with a wired-in switch and right off the bat one set would not turn on at all. The LED wires themselves are alright as far as this type of string light is concerned, but the rest of it is so cheaply made it barely survived shipping. Even if they had worked perfectly, my primary complaint would be that the switch is in a really inconvenient spot on the cable, not even 2 feet away from the plug. The cables that run from the wall-plug to the switch, and then from the switch to the copper string lights are very thin and poorly connected. I had to twist them just to get the lights to turn on when I hit the switch. If you jiggle the wire, you can hear the wires rattling around inside the switch completely unsecured. Also, there are clear plastic connection points on the copper wire where they attach two lengths of LEDs together; those are also poorly connected and bumping the wire even slightly causes the whole thing to turn off. I'm very disappointed with this product but I think I may have waited too long to unbox them to get a refund. I suspect this it just a poor soldering job so if you're handy with that type of thing, this would be an easy fix.

like them a lot

I ordered 200 LED fairy lights for my neighbor to wind through the grapevine garland around her front door. She was looking for something a little safer, after a string of Christmas lights got hot and melted. When we unwound the lights from the spool, they were clearly separated into two, 100 light sections, by a piece of tape. That small detail made it so easy to center the lights and attach them to the grapevine, and it took under a half hour to complete the project. She connected the lights to a timer, and as soon as it was dark, we were outside enjoying our handy work. I intend to order these lights for my front door, and am going to urge my neighbors to do the same. They are a great product at a reasonable price, were easy to place, and are not nearly as fragile as some other reviewers suggested.

Plugged them in before wrapping my wood tree, they worked. Plugged them in after I wrapped my wood tree, and they worked. Brought it outside, barely lights up!

Very easy too set up & use

I live near Vancouver. Lots of rain. I wrapped the transformer in saran, and have them hooked up to my timer. Had them for a month, still going strong.

It's good. I received it today and it's pretty and gives festive look. I got the 66ft for my stairs.
