Yes I think you link up 20 at one time but double check the owner's manual.

If I purchase the three pack of these detectors, will they come alreay interconnected or do I have to set that up?

My purchase alarm does not provide voice alerts with location. Do you have an alarm that does?

I bought the X-Sense Wireless Interconnected Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector about a year ago; this does not have a voice alert. I had one detector that was faulty as it kept beeping (like when a battery needs to be replaced); batteries cannot be replaced. This was under a 10-year warranty; they did not honor it by replacing the detector. I have several emails and the last ones were ignored. Amazon tried to do what they could (so they said) but nothing further ever happened. So I am left with a set of 5, but according to information gathered from different sources, the set will still work. Think twice before ordering from X-Sense.
