Works
This product works well, but the smell is awful. My dog doesn't seem to mind, as she pretty much inhales it. Smells fishy.

Great for Shepherds
We had a German/Aussie Shepherd mixed that lived to be almost 18 years old. When we started to noticed she was having hip issue we started her on Cosequin about 8 years before her passing. Every morning Chippie would start her day with Cosequin treat. It didn't matter if we had food or not, our dog got her treat. Ihave noticed on here there are many knock off brands of this medicine. I stand firm that Cosequin extended our dogs life by 7 years. She wasn't in pain anymore. She was more playful in her senior years. Even right there up to the end where her hips just could hold out. This medicine really helped her to live a longer and fuller life. We don't worship our ding like some. But with me being on the road alot. Our dog really became my wife's best friend. When I lived in Germany, her plane ticket there and back was just as much as ours. So you see, I wanted her to have the best life as she could. And Cosequin was the answer. Now our other dog is getting up in age too and showing signs that she is starting to slow down with less movement. So finding a solution to Sandies movement is no guess work. It's back with Cosequin as our first Choice. We really do love God's creatures and want them to have a good life.

Better than the original
This supplement has helped my little old heeler. She used to just lie around the house and had a hard time moving very fast. Now, she's running and playing and barking more than before, but thats okay. I will keep buying this supplement.

Helps her joints
I buy these for my 14 yr old poodle. She moves around better and is able to walk up the stairs I bought for her to get on the couch. They are soft, effective and seem to relieve some of the pain for hr. She even plays more. Thank you

Great for my dog's joint needs
Perfect for my dog, these soft chews support joint health and coat condition. I appreciate the inclusion of glucosamine and omega-3s, which seem to keep my pet active and looking good. The chews are easy to give and my dog doesn't mind the flavor. Overall, I'm happy with the results so far.

Helped my 13yr dog’s hips and legs SIGNIFICANTLY!
Totally recommend! Definitely worth the money to help my aging dog (cheaper than a vet visit in our situation). My dogs getting older. His body is starting to fail him and he is still young in his head. He started having a hard time getting out of his dog bed. Then started having time going up and down stairs. He started to fall on the steps because he just couldn’t make it with his hips. He’s about 70lbs and we had to start carrying him. We didn’t let him do the steps at all. We started with 1 senior joint treat and 2 regular dog treats in the day. I’d say in about a week we noticed a significant difference. He was able to get out of bed without the fight of getting up. We kept the steps blocked off and didn’t let him go upstairs for a month unless we carried him. After that month of religiously giving him 3 total joints daily. He was able to start doing the stairs. We do put a harness on him to be able to grab him if he falls and hold onto it on the way down without applying any force (we just let him walk). He’s doing so much better!! I truly believe these made a huge difference and made him more flexible. We can tell a difference if we miss a day or two (he gets a tad bit weaker). The senior treats don’t seem as tasty to him tho (and he’s not super picky). The regular ones he likes a lot better. He also doesn’t have many teeth, but they are soft enough for him to chew. We have cut back to 2 (one of each or two of the regulars) on most days. ((Per the instructions on the back of the pack)). We still give him 3-4 on his really bad days. If he’s having a bad day we try to make him rest a little more for a couple day/week (meaning not being outside and running around like a pup with unless energy).

COSEQUIN Joint Health Supplement (60 Count) Maximum Strength with MSM Plus Omega-3's
I have a 14-year-old Weimaraner who unfortunately is having neurological problems, but I have no doubt these Cosequin chews improved his quality of life for at least half a dozen years. I initially started giving him this joint supplement when he was around 8 and I became concerned about his mobility. He was slipping and sliding around a lot and even falling down every once in a while. My vet recommended this product and so I immediately went and found this maximum strength bag even though it was a little pricier and had less chews than the bottle of Cosequin DS. And thank God for these chews too, as I know without question they have prolonged my old guy's years on this earth. He's now on an anti-inflammatory but my vet told me to continue giving him his Cosequin and he's a stubborn old man and trying to hang on. He's never given me any trouble taking these and actually loves them, although for "Soft Chews" they are NOT very soft. However, he did run out of these ones once so I had to buy the Cosqequin DS (they were not as good) and compared to those which are a totally different color and texture, I can see why these are considered soft. I have actually gotten a few of these bags that were close to the expiration date, and in that case the chews felt harder and looked more dried out than that of a fresh bag but they still worked fine. I do remember when we first started giving these to him that it was maybe a couple of weeks later when my family and I noticed a marked improvement. It honestly shocked us all and I was so grateful to have found these. They are literally a life-saver and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them (and have) to anybody who has a senior dog who is having difficulty getting around.
