Sewer Jetter - 50 FT Premium Drain Cleaner (ONLY for Electric Pressure Washers with Color Spray Tips)

Every year or two, the kitchen sink would overflow after someone took a shower in the upstairs bathroom. This went on for 5+ years. Spent thousands having plumbers come out and try to snake or plunge. The problem would go away for a while and then happen again. Finally decided to solve it myself and used a thermal camera (FLIR one that attaches to a phone) to determine that a long run of the 2" PVC drain pipe in the basement ceiling was almost entirely clogged. Pic shows thermal of mostly blocked 2" PVC pipe with hot water running through. You can see that the water is running on top of the sludge and not in the bottom of the pipe as it should.Bought the Wet Hornet to and it worked like a champ clearing this 2" PVC drain pipe. Was able to feed it through a 90-degree turn and feed in about 25 feet. Some other reviewers reported the tip getting clogged but if this did happen it didn't affect the effectiveness. The 2nd image shows the cleared flow through the clean pipe -- warm water is flowing along the bottom of the pipe. Took about 2 hours. The cost of this product was less than a service visit from yet another plumber who wouldn't actually fix the problem.

Worked well to clean out a long sink drain line, connected to an electric pressure washer.However there was one issue - the tip tended to plug up easily, at first due to some metal chip from Machining, and later from the tip pushing into things with the Jets off while trying to push around a tight corner/tee without a helper. When a single hole plugged the electric pressure washer would cycle on/off repeatedly, until the nozzle was retracted and cleaned by hand. Debris would not cause clogs if the pressure was kept on the whole time.Overall I'm still happy with it, and would recommend it. Once I resolved the above issue it worked well - much better than a mechanical snake or chemicals. Just make sure you always have pressure on when advancing.

After battling a clogged sewer line for 3 days with a snake, I decided to try the Wet Hornet in a last-chance effort to avoid having an expensive plumber come out. I don't have an outside access point so I had to go in through the bathroom sink access (after pulling the trap).Hooked up to my electric pressure washer with ease. 25 minutes later my sewer line was clear and everything was working again. Couldn't be happier with the results.I noticed they sent a small pin tool to clean the holes in the head attachment, so that was welcome after reading a couple of these reviews. I also soaked the head attachment in hot water for 30 minutes after using hoping that would help with storage.I highly recommend this product! Worth every penny.

This is it. Together with an electric power washer (that can therefore be operated indoors), this takes care of my problems.My house is misconstructed. It is a 70's ranch style and the kitchen is at the diagonally opposite corner of the sewer drain. So the pipes run at almost no slope the whole way along the basement walls. Clogs are guaranteed and I used to have to deal with them every three months or so with a snake. This jet is a lot easier to use and actually cleans the pipes, instead of just poking a small hole through the clog.

When it works, it works. Make sure you clear your pressure washer with fresh water before hooking up. After 10 minutes of use, must have had a piece of scale block a jet. It’s impossible to clear the jet, so now it’s trash. Wish the tip was removable or replaceable for when something like that happens without having to spend a ton of money on a new one.

Very rarely do I review items but this jetter made such an impact on a drainage issue I was having that I had to leave a few words. Long store short, 40 years of tree debris getting into the roof sewer vent pipe had broken lose and clogged one portion of the drain lines to the septic tank on my house. A snake is typically my go to, but for the volume of sediment the snake just wasn’t cutting it. I used this on a DeWalt 20v 550psi pressure washer, (which is a low power pressure washer by all means,) and it was able to go through and clean out the drain without issue. Had to run it a couple of times, (though not due to the jetter,) because I had to run water and a snake down through the roof vent a number of times to get the sediment clear. This thing worked like a charm. Glad I went with this due to the thinner hose rather than the other one with a standard thicker hose for a cheaper price.

Like some other users, the jets in the head got blocked, and the pressure washer kept tripping on high pressure, I guess. However, I drilled the front facing jet out with the smallest drill I had, and it started working again. After about three passes it unblocked the drain. It was WAY easier to push down the drain than my mechanical snake, which got a kink in it.So maybe could be more goof proof, but better than my snake.
