Charleston 2 Platform Bed - Queen.

Arrived undamaged and with all the parts. This is a basic bed frame and works well with the organic cotton/wool futon mattresses. Assembly took about an hour - a battery drill or screwdriver will help speed things up with the wood screws. The tulip poplar wood is a nice, lightweight hardwood that can be stained or sealed, but works well untreated. The parts were without defect and cut well.Tips:1.Sort through your parts and place the best looking rails on the outside as some have natural darker streaks.2. You can use a rubber mallet or hammer to seat the wooden dowels after you insert the parts. Just take a towel and place it on the wood so that you don't damage it with the mallet/hammer.3. Initially, don't fully tighten the bolts into the cross-dowels. This will make it easier to do final assembly.All-in-all, a nice frame that is good for that simple, but functional purpose.

This is a beautiful, simple, well-made bed. Exactly what we were looking for. The wood is very light in color (as pictured) and we used Minwax to seal/protect it. The bed is very sturdy (we've had it 2 months now), and seems like it will last many years. Instructions were easy, packaging was good. We like that it is made in USA. We will purchase from this seller again. I also like their trundle and the drawers/boxes that go underneath. Hope to get those next. Thanks for a great bed!

Looks great in the room. We have bay windows so this sits low enough to allow the light to fill the room around it and through the headboard. Exposed hardware kind of lame but overall it looks great and is really sturdy. The wood looks like poplar in case anyone was wondering. Very satisfied with the quality and value and USA made product.

This frame made of poplar arrive raw out the planer and unfinished. If one expect to have something looking like the picture. plan on hours finishing and sanding work. Do not expect anything as clean as the picture shows!

This is a very nice bed. It will be easy to stain to match my son's other furniture. And there is room underneath for storage or a mattress for guests.

Easy to put together. No squeaking once built. I’d recommend this bed when you want real wood!

Very sturdy, attractive and easily assembled. Don't spend more on a bed frame for your futon!

This bed is sturdy and quiet for the price point you're not going to find anything better. I've had this bed for a little while now and there are no complaints the wood pieces were in good shape it was simple enough to put together definitely better than what I was expecting.
