Photoshop Elements 2022 For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))

Photoshop Elements is a very complex photo adjustment program, almost as complex as it’s big brother Photoshop. This book does a great job of detailing how to do whatever you might need to do with your photos. I bought the printed version of the book, because sometimes the Kindle version just doesn’t work. Especially if I’m repairing a photo on my laptop and I want this book next to me. I have the 2021 Kindle version of this book, and they are very much alike. One thing I wish the authors would provide are online photos available for downloading so it’s easier to follow along with their instructions.

I have been a Photoshop fan for over twenty years. First, with a full-function Photoshop suite. Later with Elements. Elements is all that I need. This book is a great companion to the software.However, the Index is weak. For example, if you want to find the section titled "Fixing distortion with the Perspective Crop Tool" (very helpful for shooting tall buildings), you will not find it in the Index under Distortion.Speaking of the Perspective Crop Tool, you will not find where it is in this book. Select Crop from the Tools, then the Perspective Crop Tool appears in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Great detail for beginner to intermediate user. PSE22 has so many new features compared to my older version. The book is easy to understand and implement. Great purchase

You can't go wrong with the Dummies books

Book has what you need to operate the software and it's nice that the contents page and index are complete enough that one can go right to something and find information on it.

This book is easy to use and provides just what you need without filler. It is helpful, in my opinion, if one has a bit of experience editing photographs. That is the direction that I come from so I cannot address being new to photo editing. However, the book is plainly written with good visuals. Jump in!

As a beginner on Photoshop Elements, this book is exactly as I had hoped. I have another book that was more difficult to comprehend. Recommend!

Repetitive as in word for word in earlier versions i.e Elements 2018

It describes in detail all you need to know about working with Photoshop Elements 2022. Important to read before you start working with it.
