My Go-To for All Weather: Why I Love My MUCK Brand Rain and Snow Boots!
I purchased my MUCK Brand Rain and Snow Boots a few weeks ago and have been waiting for the weather to wear them. They have completely changed my perspective on footwear for wet and wintry weather! Surprisingly comfortable, these boots are so well-fitted that I often forget I’m even wearing them. I’ve worn them during walks with my dogs in various weather conditions, and they’ve always kept me comfortable, even on extended outings. The insulating lining keeps my feet warm without causing overheating, allowing me to wear regular socks without any discomfort. The tread pattern is fantastic, providing excellent grip on a variety of slippery surfaces—think wet leaves, ice, and snow. Plus, the clever little ridge on the back of each heel makes it a breeze to slip them off when I’m indoors. I love that they’re designed to accommodate my pants, whether I choose to tuck them in or wear them out. Overall, these boots are the best investment I’ve made for dealing with inclement weather. I would have rated them six stars if possible. Highly recommend them for anyone seeking comfort and performance!

Great buy!
Love these!! Fit perfectly and were comfortable right out the box. I wear these at work and walk through a good 6” of mud most the day and I’ve never had them try to slip off. The heel separation started around a month after purchase but I continue to wear them 3 months later and have yet to have wet feet. I appreciate that they are shorter and feel less klunky than the typical muck boots.

Big foot
For a really wide foot these boots are awesome

Well worth the price premium vs cheap imitations.
Quick Conclusion: — Pro’s — -No leaks!! -Quality construction & glues -Durable yet lightweight -Easy on/off, they stay in place unlike others -Fit is great (closer to an athletic shoe than a boot which I love because they obviously don’t have laces) -Warm, but not overbearing -Stylish (for rubber boots...), I am frequently asked about them — Con’s — -Small particles can fall in because they aren’t very tall (I also bought them because they aren’t overly tall) -They weren’t free.. (idk, I can’t think of any other cons) As a civil engineer/land surveyor, I am always in & out of the woods, on construction sites, walking through wetlands etc. “Waterproof” work boots all lose their waterproofing once they’ve been scuffed up by brush & construction debri. I’ve tried multiple pairs of rubber boots from the knock off brands (typically in the $60-$70 range), bad experiences across the board and resisted buying other muck boot & bogs options because they don’t seem to fit very snug. Knock off brands seem to hold up for about 2 weeks until a seam splits or they get a puncture, without fail they fail. These are the first pair of rubber boots that actually fit well. I purchased size 10M in these (I am a 10.5M in Nike/10M in Adidas) and I could almost go for a run in them because they’re very form fitting. Easy on/off, soft & comfortable inner, light, yet very well made. I’ve worn them in temps down to 10deg f with just one pair of socks and was plenty warm. Ive had days walking +10,000 steps and didn’t get any foot fatigue because they stay put & again are light. My one word of caution would be to make sure they align with how you plan to use them. Meaning, they are only 5” tall (which is why I bought them), but if you only plan to wear them through wetlands, tall brush or use in water deeper than 3”-4” I’d look at a different style with a taller shaft. Small bits of leafs & debri can fall in when walking in deep woods, but it’s a compromise I’d be happy to make again due to how great they are in many other areas.

Broken strap
The boots seem fine overall however, the strap you use to pull the boot on broke within one month of use. Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they replied back right away and are sending me a new pair. Great service!

pretty comfortable, works well in snow and rain, warm enough for northern VA
I wanted to taller snow boot, as the previous one I had (keen revel 3) tended to dig into my shin. Got a great deal on these, so had to give them a try. One of my concerns with Muck Boots was that I had tried their muckster ii's and the soles were weirdly slippery out of the box, I was sliding around just standing on a hardwood floor. I assume once broken in they would have been grippy, but was concerned they would always be slick. Not so with these Arctic excursions - super grippy, which gave me more assurance they would be fine on ice and snow. I appreciated the ease of entry, my other boots needed a lot more effort to put on. I can get probably 90% of the way in, and just need a slight tug to seat the heel. I wish the heel tab were slightly larger and/or lower, I tend to step on the sole right underneath to step out hands free. I'm in northern Virginia so admittedly conditions aren't too severe, but this has kept my feet warm and dry in the few snowy days we've had. I'm usually a 10.5 in most shoes, the 10 fits perfect. I'm flat footed and I have plenty of toebox space, but it's secure enough in the heel where the boot isn't flopping around when walking. There's plenty of room for thick socks, but I've gone out in thinner wool socks and been fine as well. Haven't worn them for more than an hour for playing in the snow or walking the dog, but they're comfortable enough that I feel I would be fine wearing them all day if needed.

Muck isn’t what it use to be. They leak don’t buy
I have worn these boots twice walking on grass with 2” of snow . The boots leak like the sole is not sealed properly to the upper part. Buyer beware, I read a comment before I purchased the boots an a couple comments said these boots are not made like they used to be and they leak after a couple uses. I didn’t take the leaking comments very serious because I have been wearing this same boot for years. We sell Christmas trees so I need a water proof comfortable to wear all day boot. I bought the boots in October so I would be ready for this season , which means the return window has closed after only wearing the boots twice. Turns out because it’s been 45 days there is no option to contact vendor either . Very disappointed in this product and will never buy it again . No chemicals , no barn use just walking on grass with 2” snow for 6 hours makes them leak. It turns out they leak. I would have given 0 stars but they don’t let you. They leak they leak

So comfortable, like slippers
I absolutely love these boots, so much so I bought my husband a pair. I bought mens boots for me even though I'm female for extra width so I could wear thick socks. Loads of room, not sloppy, I can walk my dog for hours. I pray they last, I bought them in October 2024, now February 2025, so fingers crossed. My husband who normally lives in crocks also loves his pair. He's found it very difficult to find comfortable walking boots that are easy on and off. These are perfect

Once worn you will love the comfort and robust Artic soles
I love the Muck Boots and this is my 3-rd pair only after 4 years. I wear them daily in in often different and many time slots and in All seasons and weather. I take care of our horses and their habitats from A-Z. The boots are the max and once you have worn them you will not want to wear any other anymore. In this case I preferred to take this version with a better sole. The 2 pair of Muck’s I have worn before had rubber soles and were great. But as I put the boots on probably 10-15 times a day. I believe I am well placed as one of the main testers. So I slide in that many times because I often change them when coming in house. I do not want any horse smell inside as I spend my time anywhere with my horses. So I often pull off the boots. There is one thing that you should keep in mind that on the heals there are kind of protents that you should press on with the tip of your other boot to ease the pull-off or the start of it. However this Artic model has better and slightly larger protents. So the contact with the tip of the other boot is better and you can exercise more strength to start pulling of the first boot with your other foot. What you should keep in mind that you use the protents rubber sole Muck’s to pull them off. Putting pressure on the sole rather than the heel as this will loosen the sole in the long run. Now this Artic model seems to have better protents but also a better sole to guarantee non-loosening soles. This model contains robuster soles which is important in my case. Sorry for this long chapter.
