I love this set SO much!! Not only is everything absolutely adorable, but my son loves the little tent and every time we go camping he wants to bring his camping stuff. If you are considering buying this - please do! I plan to buy more for my friend's kids as well.

I purchased this to get my 2.5 year old son excited about the outdoor adventures for this summer and camping and all that "man stuff". My son is in love with this product. He immediately set up his fire and cooking area then had fun "catching" the bugs and throwing them in his pot. He loved the lantern/flashlight cause the flashlight portion is just like mommy's shining flashlight. The fire not only lights up, but also does a crackling sound effect. Which may be a touch too loud, but still a very cool detail. I think the age range for this item was 3 or 4+, but the only thing is small enough to pose any form of possible choke-risk was a fake sandwich in the "food bag" and this is triangular, so I dont see it getting stuck in his mouth let alone getting lodged in his throat. He seemed to know what all the parts were for or was able to figure out a good use to for them.

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it!! What a fun toy for little kids. It always does my heart good when he is having fun!

This had good reviews so I purchased for a 3 year olds birthday gift. Day 2 playing and two things are broken. Very disappointed. Sure Amazon is a rockstar and sending me a whole replacement set BUT....I'm sure most of these things will be broken all over again as time goes on. I'm debating if I'll keep it or just send it all back, for $35 I could get something way nicer that will actually hold up to toddlers playing. The concept is nice but most of the pieces are very cheap and flimsy. I've had similar toys for my kiddos over the years and I've never had things break this easily or quicky. Do yourself a favor and buy a nice play tent and buy a nice set of kitchen food and some other random things to make your own camp out! You'll pay more money but hey they will last forever.
