buy it, it works, worth the $
i first learned of this product about 12 years ago, my daughter moved back home from the in laws house and well bed bugs happened. i think i burned everything in my house that i had little use for. i flippin freaked. I soon realized that everything i read about nothing works, you HAVE to call and exterminator, just wasnt true. i used the oil based product for longevity but still resprayed once a month for three months. however, they were gone after the first spray. it not only was effective for bed bugs, but for fleas and spiders. i still havnt had a spider in my house since using this spray 12 yrs ago. i used to get big wood spiders and furry black ones. weve had two big dogs and two cats that come in in extreme weather and we have never had a flea problem and honostly i do not treat my animals for fleas. excellent quality and longevity, easy to use, works fantastic.

Very Effective
I live in one of the top ten cities for bed bugs. Our apartment building and even some of the places I have worked and been to in the city are just crawling with the little pests. I did a lot of research on how to get rid of them and tried many different products to no avail. After reading the reviews of this product, which was a little expensive, but cheaper than an exterminator, I decided to try it. Lets just say I need not try any other product again. This stuff works. It kills them on contact. I cleaned the whole apartment from top to bottom, washed all of the clothes and placed them in plastic bags, got couch covers and mattress covers and sprayed this stuff all over the house. I sprayed it every 3 days for about 2 weeks, paying close attention to the baseboards, windows, doors, outlets and lighting fixtures. Wow no more bed bugs in the house. I still spray it around at least once a month now, mostly because of hitchhikers that attach themselves to you when your out and about. It will be a year in June since we started using this product and am very happy with it. The down side is it is oily and leaves an oily residue however, that does go away after awhile and I haven't noticed it staining anything. It does have a slight odor, but it is not overpowering and does go away after a couple of days. The only other problem was the sprayer broke after a couple applications, but with that I just got a little hand held sprayer. Over all this is a wonderful product and well worth the money.

Expect to let sprayed area air for a while!
Best I can tell this product works well but my room I sprayed it in had to be aired out for 3 days before trying to sleep in there again. I remember years ago when I lived in an apartment complex, the manager would have the apts sprayed fairly often and it smelled just like this product. I still ended up having some bugs left but I made the mistake of just spraying the top of my box springs and not underneath and that is where most of the buggers were nesting! Threw my box springs away and that got rid of them completely but in a few days had more bugs. UPDATE: Unfortunately this did not kill my bedbugs even using it at 2 separate times.

Review
This is one of the best sprays if you want to kill bedbugs, ants, roaches etc. It gets the job done nicely.

Disappointed
This product will kill bugs dead. It will kill spiders and any kind of creepy crawlers. It doesn’t last as long as it used to. When I first bought it several years ago, it lasted many days. However, only a day or two now. It seems as if they’ve made some changes and it’s not as potent. That’s unfortunate because Ive recommended it to several people. Hopefully the company will take it back to its original state. I recommend but not 100%.

Highly effective!
This stuff is Amazing!!! Very effective in killing both bedbugs and roaches. Low oder compared to store brands and more effective. The red label (petroleum base) works best compared to blue label water base. Sprayer trigger went faulty on one bottle had purchased.

THIS STUFF WORKS!!!
My grandma had bedbugs when I lived with her she use this in her room, and they never spread to anywhere else, now I found myself with some, and I have sprayed the furniture and I’m not itching or getting bit anymore, this brand is the best brand! I will say the smell doesn’t smell very good of the spray and you’ll want to be out of the house, or at least air it out maybe do one room at a time

but that's the only good with it
Where to start? The stuff probably kills bugs, but that's the only good with it. Its supposed to be a contact killer, I have no idea if there is a residual benefit as there is with EcoRaider, Cimexa, etc. The company website doesn't give a lot of info. What I do know, the stuff delaminated the facings on my furniture. Had to spend many hours glueing the facings back onto the furniture, there multiple failures on almost every drawer. And in other areas on the furniture, where there is vinyl on the backs and sides, there were so many 'bubbles' -- hundreds of them -- it was impossible to fix. Those bubbles are perfect future hiding spots for more bugs. As for the smell, it lasts and lasts and lasts. I'm a full week later, with fans going almost constantly and windows/doors open, and the room is still too toxic smelling to reoccupy. I used a mop to absorb some of the excess on the (hardwood) floor after the first day (a lot goes thru the cracks and onto the floor, which is expected when you're trying to get every crevice)-- and somehow, 6 days later, it still smells. Of course, a big part of killing bed bugs is getting back into the bed so they cross the toxic barrier and die. But if we can't go back into the bed, the bed bugs will just wait it out. And since the oil isn't the toxic part, my guess is the bug killing part is gone before it has a chance to work. I'm hoping the EcoRaider (which I used on the rest of the furniture w/o problems) does the job and Cimexa cleans up the rest. But this JT Eaton product was a big step in the wrong direction Using this product was a big mistake and I'm shocked none of the other reviewers saw the same things.
