Although the button maker is plastic, it has held up rather well. I used it to make buttons for my class reunion, fridge magnets for my son and daughter in laws wedding, and magnets for advertising a bar tending service.

I bought this product for my 14 year old to start her business. This product is really good quality and works perfectly, the only issue is the size. when it arrived we were surprised how small the pins were. (size of american quarter) Later we reviewed and realized i made the mistake of purchasing the wrong size, completely my fault! If this is the size wanted then buy it! great product and cheaper than others ive seen!

It was easy to use but it was nut as sturdy as a metal one

At first I was so frustrated. Could not get the back pin to attach. So I boxed it up and made a return. Then I decided to reopen and tried again. Wa La….. I was doing it wrong. I did not flip the plastic pin backing with the pin side down. It clearly shows it on the diagram🤭, it is really nice. Made a boat load of pins. Cut the circle on my Cricut machine at 1.943 for a 1.50 button.Reduced the graphics to an inch and centered it. I love it. Called customer service to delete my return request.They were so helpful and nice.

Be firm but gentle and it'll treat you just fine. Be careful when buying replacement button supplies, I've gotten burned with ones that don't stay together. But the ones that came with this worked great

It was easy to use. I made a lot of buttons to hand out as swag at a convention.Also the blue is pretty.

I bought this to turn excess Pokemon cards into buttons. For the most part it works, and the end result is incredibly cute. Great as a prize box item for kids. However... there is an incredibly high failure rate. I think it's like 1 in 3 or like 1 in 4, but inconsistent. Like 7 success and then 2 fails. I suspect it has to do with the card's thickness, but I'm not sure. Thankfully I've been using super cheap and easy to obtain cards. But just something to be on the lookout for.

Unclear why it does not work, but likely because press is plastic (not metal) & the dye doesn't line up properly. A regrettable & thoroughly disappointing purchase.
