My daughter is an average 11 year old and wears size 14 bottoms for most uniform bottoms. I ordered 14+ to have a little extra room, and this skirt is two sizes too big! No way to adjust it either. I will try size 12. Fabric is nice (not stiff) but not very soft either, just a tad “itchy”.

I like that the skirt has inner shorts and pockets. It’s hard to find.My only complaint is that it either runs big or my daughter needs to put on some weight. It’s bigger than an old navy skirt of the same size in terms of the waist. I had to put safety pins on either side to take it in then see it when she the pins became uncomfortable. It would be great if it had a sizing option with the buttons I side, you know what I mean? But even with that, I still live the skirt.
