Item worked beautifully. Used on a Wasatch 40 Gun fire / water safe. All the holes lined, plug and play. Even worked on the original solenoid.

I used this lock to replace the cheap factory lock on my SecureIt gun cabinet. The OEM lock never worked correctly; jammed frequently. This replacement lock has been flawless. A few minor modifications to the cabinet were necessary for this lock to fit but anyone with a drill and a file could do it.

Not bad for the price. Easy to install and operates fine. Not as rugged as I hoped, but for the cost, you can't ask for more.

After months of waiting for the manufacturer (Cannon) to send the correct replacement lock, I purchased the Wah Lin lock from Amazon. The Lock was sent out within a week and after reading the enclosed instructions and watching the video, I installed it. The access holes for the wiring ribbon and connector had to be enlarged. I used a drill and rotary tool to remove enough steel to allow the connector to fit through. I mounted the circuit board adjacent to the solonoid lock with sheetmetal screws and spacers to elevate it off the rigid fireproof board. It's not a direct fit, but I don't consider this additional work to be a negative detracting from the design. The wiring on the old lock was the source of its failure, this lock with its large wiring connector and harness are upgrades that make the additional installation worthwhile.Make sure you have a fresh battery to ensure proper function. Works well.

I have a stack on Total defense safe the original lock quit. I ordered this one to replace it after I installed I set the code and then tried it gave me a yellow light and nothing after trying couple more times I reset the code and tried again did the same. I took the battery out rechecked the connections put the battery back in it beeped like it did before however then would not do anything pulled battery checked it it was good re installed it beeped once then nothing again. Can't send back cause in taking it back out the plug ripped off the ribbon gable. I am going to try one more from different company however I have only been able to find 2 companies that even make these parts.

This lock worked fine for little over a month and it stopped working a week ago. I have changed batteries several times and still doesn't operate the lock.Have to open with key.Is there anything you can do to exchange.

So easy to replaced the old with the new one and set up with new code with out problems
