I was originally looking for magna doodle sort of thing for my 3 year old in preparation for a verrrrrry long road trip. This was one of the first ones I could get delivered same day at a very reasonable price. I have no idea what this LCD writing tablet was, and honestly was a little bit worried it was going to be something cheaply made that would fall apart, or worse, wouldn't work at all. To my extreme surprise, this tablet is completely and totally awesome. It's lightweight, feels very sturdy, and is so extremely simple that I don't have to worry about spending a lot of money and having my kids break it.It's BETTER than the magna doodle. The lines you draw are crisp. It's pressure sensitive so if you lose the stylus, you're not screwed. It came with an extra battery, which was so thoughtful! It's literally ready to play with as soon as you take it out of the box. No set up needed.My 1-year-old was able to play with it quietly for a few minutes, and my 3-year-old was occupied with it for a good 15 minutes. As a mother of two little kids, I didn't even remember what quiet sounded like, so imagine my complete surprise when they started to play with this. I. WAS. IN. SHOCK.Definitely need to get another one, and maybe a few more as gifts for other mom friends. Highly recommend!

I got this lcd writing tablet for my two year old who loves to doodle and color, and therefore go through a lot of coloring books and paper. This tablet is great because she can simply erase her scribbles and draw again, and then repeat as many times as she likes. She had a different one, but the stylus was short, flat with squiggly edges; unlike this one which has a pen-like shaped stylus that makes it easier to hold in her little hands. I also like that you have the option to tie the stylus to the tablet, lowering the chances of misplacing (or even losing) the stylus. (With the other tablet, she misplaced the stylus all the time). It’s so light-weight and easy to use that my little one walks around while she doodles. This writing pad also has a detachable stylus holder, it’s super easy to use, you can place your palm on it without adding any marks, and it has a lock feature that prevents deleting your drawing. Side note: I got the blue one, and it’s a great color.

Purchased for my daughter's 7th birthday and it turned out to be one of her favorite presents. She had been practicing her cursive with it and drawing the stuffies in her room. It has a multi color board, but not rainbow like the photo. I attached a photo with the whole screen drawn on, so that you can see the colors. It comes with a springy lanyard for the pen, an extra battery, and a small screwdriver for opening the compartment when the battery needs to be replaced. It has a screen lock feature, which is great because the button is easy to accidentally push.This would be awesome on road trips, or flights - and we will be buying a second one for our older daughter. It's thin, which makes it easy for my daughter to carry - but I'm concerned that it will be easy to break if dropped, or sat on. However, at the low price, I would definitely buy a replacement.

This little LCD board was the biggest hit of our Christmas, which was totally unexpected. I bought this on a whim as a Prime Day deal, and my 8-year-old rated it as his favorite Christmas present over much more expensive and elaborate toys (legos, video games). More importantly, it has made him enjoy drawing and encouraged writing. I didn’t get the lock feature at first but since the board is a lot like a fancy whiteboard, it helps present accidental erasing.My son’s only complaint is that there is no partial erase. However, with his drawing, it seems to help him learn how to integrate errors into the drawing and address them.

I ordered two lcd tablets from this company TWICE as the first two I ordered were broken. On the first set it was impossible to get the batteries in and out, the batteries were dead upon arrival, and the boards had coloring spots on the tablets that would not erase.I ordered them again and had the exact same issues, but this time one of the tablets was made different in addition to the other issues. That's a little fishy to me. It has been a frustrating experience! I got these for my kids' birthday and I am very disappointed.I will not purchase things from this company again.Thank you Amazon for resolving my issues, but please don't allow companies like this to sell items here!
