Great Alternative to higher priced cams
This is a great alternative to the higher priced actions cams. I don't need professional quality and plan to use only the 1080p settings. That said, I don't know how they make a great cam and supply a ton of mounting options for such a low price. Using it was effortless and I was very surprised of battery retention. I use it for recording my drones while flying and had a period of time where I wasn't flying. I think maybe 3 weeks went by and after I picked up the camera, the battery was still fully charged and ready to go. Also, it has a nice build quality and feel. At this time, the only improvement I can think of would be to have EIS on the 4K setting, but I'm not sure that would be feasible at this price.

Awesome For Chest Mount on Motorcycle with EIS=ON! Super Impressed! :-)
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this action camera specifically for use with my GoPro® style chest mount while riding my motorcycle. When EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) is enabled it works incredibly well for the price point. I was actually quite impressed. All of the included mounts appear to be made of very sturdy plastics and I have zero fear of the camera leaving the mount. The user manual is quite adequate and I had no problems getting everything setup. Highly recommend. Watch my EIS comparison and also 2 time lapse sample videos set at 5 and 10 seconds; attached.

Good for the price, buy a good micro SD card asap, only issue so far is accessories/helmet mount
I got this as a stand-in until I can save up for a better camera to record my rides. I figured a cheap camera to start with would be safer than nothing just in case and if the cheap one sucks it wasn't a massive waste of money. The quality of the test ride video was way better than I expected from it and so far the camera itself is awesome. It's easy to figure out and solid in all aspects I've seen so far. My only issue has been the accessories. I mounted the curved adhesive to the top of my helmet and rode to Walmart to get an SD card so I could start recording for the trip home and while I was in the store the mount completely fell off. The adhesive stuck to my helmet just fine, it was actually hard to clean off, but the plastic part holding everything to the adhesive just popped right off on its own. I moved the camera over to my handlebars for the way home and the video I got was great. The other issue I've found is that it doesn't come with a micro SD so you will have to buy one prior or when you get it. And you have to make sure it's formatted properly before use. I'm not sure if the formatting is the issue I'm having or if it's something else but my file won't transfer to my computer for some reason too. It will show up on my computer when the SD is inserted but it won't let me transfer. Like I said, idk if it's a formatting issue or if it's something else so that might just be a me issue. Just beware I guessUpdate: I've taken a few videos with this now and it works great especially for how cheap it is. I have noticed that the display sometimes says it's dead or about to die even after putting a full battery in/recharging it but it stays on a while and I haven't had any issue with how long it actually lasts. It just says it's low on the display sometimes even if it isn't

Camera
I absolutely love my camera. I took it on a snorkeling trip and in the caves. The only downfall is that I wish I would have had a wrist handle or something to hold it while I moved around in the water. I was afraid of dropping it in the ocean. Other than that I take it everywhere with me.

Worthless
Let me start with the pros of the camera, none lets move on to the cons. On paper this camera has some features but most don't work. The batteries don't last long at all. The waterproof case isn't waterproof I saw bubble's immediately and took the case off to dry the camera. With or without the external microphone you can't hear it while riding a motorcycle no matter how close to the mic you are. You have to yell into the mic when sitting still and it's still muffled sounding. The video quality is none. I tried every resolution, Hz, EIS on and off high speed sims cards and no matter what I tried the video made the road look like waves in the ocean. You can't tell what kind of vehicles your meeting on video nor can you make out signs from the video jumping and blurry. I thought maybe it's in the settings so I reached out to the surfola support link and day's later I have still not heard from their company. I reached out to Amazon and within seconds they called me and we ran through some trouble shooting in setting to try but nothing improved the new video I made. Still pictures or non moving videos is the only thing this camera can do. I Was going to send it back and Amazon was willing to exchange or send it back for refund but decided not to waste anymore money sending it back so it may become a pocket camera for hiking not sure yet. This is a worthless product for any kinda action video and you want get any help from there co. This experience will leave me with never buying from this company again.
