Great product and nice design main problem form me is that it wasnt clear that the screw had a groove where the ssd should fit in order for the cover to fully close. I had to watch a youtube video.. all in all i really like the product and packaging.

This is super nice and cool looking! Easy to set up and did I mention it looks super cool! Nice heavy metal material, gorgeous design, led lights are added bonus. I used this in my ps5 and it’s the second m.2 ssd hooked up to the PS5. My only complaint and this is nothing against ASUS, is you can’t play PS5 games from it but at least the transfers from external to internal are super fast! 800 gigs took about 15-20 mins. I barely had time to use the bathroom and grad a snack. No regrets but I hope Sony releases an update where we can use an external m.2 with PS5 games.

This is a very good looking case, comes well packed with clear instructions. Very easy to assemble and get up and running quickly. The positive thing about the Arion Lite that it's made from aluminum with a USB-C connector, so it's a robust and compact little unit where you don't have to worry about compatibility. It also has RGB effects on the logo and trim when plugged in, if that kind of thing matters to you. The negative point -- and this has much to do with your choice of SSD stick you put inside it -- is that it gets quite warm to the touch when running for longer than an hour. I put a WD Black SN750 inside, which is admittedly a performance drive and perhaps overkill, but it was a carryover from another project and I just wanted to find a home for it. Anything more than a PCIE Gen 3 SSD is probably not suitable, I would guess? Another negative thing is that two halves of the case are not a seamless fit. There's a noticeable rattle when given a shake. I solved this by wrapping some gaffer tape around the middle of the case. It might ruin the aesthetic, but the rattling is going to be more annoying over time. Would I recommend it? Yes, but taking into account the caveats above. Don't put a PCIE Gen 4 drive in here. That will definitely run too hot and you won't benefit from the higher connection speeds because they'll be limited by the USB-C.

Excellent design and quality, this NVMe enclosure may be expensive but it actually does what it suppose to do, keep the memory from over heating. I previously used an Orico enclosure, after trying to stream a movie for 5 mins, i could not touch the heatsink. As I am moving all my external storage to NVMe I will only be using these enclosures.

Likes - It's Asus, you get the usual Asus over-engineered quality. - Has RGB, which can sync to your system (if using more Asus stuff) - Has good thermal conductivity, the aluminium case gets warm to the touch when moving data to/from the the nvme SSD (means it is doing its job) Dislikes - It's Asus, so you are paying the usual Asus tax premium (5 star quality, 6 star pricing) - Listing said I would get a USB C to C / USB C to A cable (which I needed for last gen laptops). Only 1 C to C cable was provided. Took 1 star off for that. - While they said it was 'tool less' device, come on guys the SIM card release pin to open the nvme enclosure is waaaay harder to find than a flat head screw driver which everyone has. I had to hunt around the house to find my old Samsung S22 ultra box to find the SIM card tray pin just to open this case. Bent paper clips were too thick to fit. Wasted 20mins of my time when I had a screwdriver in my drawer. - The m2 screw to secure the sdd was reaaaaally tight, although a 'thumb screw' I tried my darnest with my fingers but all i got was my fingers rubbed sore. After 2 tries i took a screwdriver to it and with considerable effort, managed to release the screw. - For this price, I wish they included more thermal pad replacements, as if the enclosure was used as it should, supporting multiple m.2 nvme ssd for data efficiency work (as opposed to just leaving 1 nvme in there until the end of time) Otherwise all else is good, but I would hesitate to buy this one if I did not have a 10Gbps USB-C to USB-A cable on hand to use (luckily I do.)

Bon ! Par où commencer ?! Franchement mon insatisfaction concerne le Prix bien évidemment ! Franchement c'est juste l esthétique qui nous donne envie de l acheter ! 57 euros en version LITE c'est à dire si j'ai bien saisi car j'ai aucune info là-dessus, Lite = version câble de USB C à USB C j'ai donc du acheter à la suite un câble USB C à USB A ! Après ça c est rien lool Le produit en lui même sincèrement une info confirmable " il ne chauffe pas ! Même après des heures d utilisation " après j'y ai mis de la NVMe 2TO. " Il est aussi esthétiquement magnifique ! Retour au points qui fachent!= qualité du boitier se raye Mauvaise nouvelle et semble sensible aux chutes aussi je reconnais comme tout disque dur externe ! Pour terminer tout ces points peuvent être acceptés, ignorés mais pour ce prix de vente c'est inacceptable ! Vraiment si vous pouvez vous le procurer moins cher ailleurs OK mais sur Amazon trop cher pour ce que c'est ! N oubliez pas que l achat de la NVMe se rajoute . 2To pour 199 euros + 57 euros rog . Revoir le prix urgemment !!!
