This is an excellent book, and I would encourage you to watch the most recent podcast with Joe Rogan too on Spotify. Alex rarely or never opines why the governments have reacted the way they have over the last two years. He merely gives you the data produced by multiple respected and qualified scientists around the world (and gives you the links to review yourself should you wish) that suggests that at best the governments of the world panicked early and then got to deep to be able to backtrack without losing face. If you have seen through the data for the last 2 years this will merely reinforce you were right but also give you ammunition if it comes up (almost certainly will). It would be better for someone more bought into the MSM narrative to read and help them awaken. It is mainly focused on the USA (paints a scary picture of the big business in US Healthcare) but quotes much data from the UK as ours is better. So very relevant for a UK audience. What he doesn’t answer or even question is why the governments did what they did and the book is all the more creditable for it. Leaving you to form your own opinion. Extremely easy to read and well written as you would expect for an ex NY Times writer. 100% recommended.

I’ve read a few books about the pandemic and this one is in a different league from most others. It’s a devastating account of the political, public health & media response to COVID-19 since early 2020, focusing on the US, but of immense relevance to UK readers.I don’t think anyone could read it without their eyes being opened to the scale of the dishonesty that surrounds us; media scaremongering, Government lies, naked political opportunism, failed ‘modelling’, incurious and sidelined legislatures, censorship, business profiteering, the destruction of children’s educations and futures, and the dismantling of all that makes human societies function and individual lives fulfilling- social bonds, the arts, free discussion, and civil liberties.If you have children, you should read it: because unless we change track radically they’re going to be living in a frightening, unfree and dangerous world, censored and exploited by the most rapacious and corrupt businesses ever produced by capitalist economies. Knowledge is the start of liberation; and this book is a great starting point for knowledge.

Only 105 pages and 11 chapters in and im happy to review that this book is a must read. Really well written.. cant remember the last time i reviewed an Amazon purchase, but this book made me intrigued, interested, annoyed (not at the book) its just a phenomenal read and the source material to back up relevant hypothesis makes it what it is. Again, only 11 chapters in and cant wait to finish it. Im asking myself right now what the hell is going on... ??

Once again Alex Berenson has proven to be one of the few clear, rational and informed voices amongst the Covid confusion. This book clearly outlines just how damaging the global governments' reactions to Covid-19 have been to the public's health and sanity. Using facts from widely available public sources, Alex details just how skewed the mainstream media has been in covering Covid for the past 18 months and just how much governments and pharmaceutical companies have used this opportunity to expand their reach and control over the public. Thanks Alex, please keep up the vital good work of being the voice of reason in the crowd!!

After 2 years of being constantly lied to by hysterical media and floundering governments this book is a superb, well written and very readable break down of what happened. If you want to truly understand how our world was turned upside down I'd recommend this. Its one of the books I'll try and bring to the concentration camp with me.

History is written by the loudest voice. I. This day and age we have a chance to see all the sides. This book opens to another view. A much needed one.
