I have used this gimble on two assignments this far. Practice, practice, practice! It does take time to get professional results. Balancing the camera takes a bit of time at first, and goes quicker after a few uses. I am using a Canon T3i and T5i with 10-18mm zoom lens. The camera and lens weigh in at 3.25 lbs. I am within the combined weight parameters for the camera and gimble. I had difficulty balancing the camera on the gimble and was given guidance from the company via email. We found that not using the "quick release" plate worked best.The gimble, once balanced, works as advertised, giving you smooth crane and dolly shots. Walking smoothly with the unit takes practice but does provide solid results. If you don't hold the gimble still, and you have small side to side movements, you will see those movements in your shots. Just a small movement side to side will result in a poor trembling video. I have changed my work flow to shoot the gimble portion of the day's shoot first so I don't work with a tired set of arms.The manual....ah, the manual. What manual? Actually the manual included with the nicely packaged unit is mostly useless. As of this review there is no explanation, in the manual, of the "modes" of operation. There are easily found videos on YouTube that will explain the modes to you.I will purchase a two handed "cage" bar that will make use of this product easier. Please note the unit I received is slightly different from what is shown...my unit does not have the red handled tightening screws but instead has textured large head screws.I do like this unit and it is a great addition to my equipment locker. I discounted one star for the useless manual.

This is a good product. You must balance the motors or it will go crazy. The handle is a little big for my taste, getting the addidtional handle mout wil help that. This product works as it should and I would buy another if I needed.

This item never really worked the way it was suppose to And now it really messes up... Ive had it less than a 18 months... I wish I would have got an extended warranty which I usually do.

Did not come with batteries and power button stuck. I like the gimbal but guess mine defective
