3-D Designs Coloring Book (Dover Design Coloring Books)

Depending on how you choose to color these you may fall off your chair. Just kidding but they can make you look twice. These are very fun and unique different designs.I have a collection of these dover coloring books and cannot say enough good about them. Great for adults to relax with and be creative. I recommend good colored pencils like Primsacolor regular and Verithins both right here on Amazon. They last forever I have some in my collection from the 1960's, they are short but still work.5 Star product!

Great adult coloring books. The paper is of a good quality. It does leak through if you use felt or gel type pens...more so with the felt but I had expected this to be the case. The quality vs the price are excellent though. I think you will find many relaxing hours coloring these pictures, which is exactly what I purchased this product for. Very happy with my purchase and will purchase more of the Dover series.

Fun. I did copies on cardstock. I've done a couple with colored pencils & some w/felt tip or gel pens. Designs range in complexity but u can put ur own spin on it based on how u look at it. I also keep copies for fiends/family that end up cooped up in hospital rooms or long days in the RV.

I started coloring with colored pencils several years ago as a form of relaxation and have ordered numerous books. I have found I prefer intricate designs, rather than large open spaces. This book is more on the intricate design side. I can't see using anything but colored pencils with this book. Most of the designs are rather repetitive and some are plain simple, which can be tedious or meditative, depending upon your personality. I like the book because it is easy and not much of a challenge, but allows me to go into the "zone." The paper is rough and not good quality, but few of these coloring books are printed on smooth, expensive paper. There are 30 designs, back to back. I'm not sorry I purchased this book.For a book that really has intricate designs, takes a day or two to do, I love Decorative Tile Designs by Marty Noble.

Such a wonderful diversion. So relaxing and fun to do. Never thought a grown woman would love coloring so much! Great when you don't want to think about anything. Easy for traveling....just bring along some colored pencils and you're good to go. Would be a simple gift for someone in the hospital or sick at home. Beautiful designs

The designs are double-sided, so these pages are NOT good for removing & framing, or for any wet media, which is what I use. I'm very disappointed for this will require me to make copies of any designs in order not to bleed through to the other design. Usually when double-sided, scanning & copying makes the back of page design show through, so no clean copies. The paper is thin & a bit off-white, so copies may not be clean either. As for the designs, they are finely detailed, can be colored in many combinations to bring different features into focus, suitable for adults and teens.

This book is very detailed and def can pass the time away on a rainy day. It's cool to see the different detentions for its quite an optical illusion depending. Bought this for kids but I find myself getting into it more than them sometimes. There's something about coloring that's soothing.

I color for relaxation and the designs in this book are some of the best designs I have colored--and I have colored many books. I only use colored pencils which allow the necessary sharp points to get into the small places. The design pieces are the perfect size for me-each section easy to see and color, yet small enough to create a beautiful finished picture.
