Considering using this for air layering heavy-ish branches from established garden shrubs. Historically I have used a rooting powder. Will thi work?

I have used it on Cara Cara Orange and Haven Peach Trees it worked good where I had no luck with powder. All I can say. If you have had luck with powder this should work for you

About how many cuttings can you root with this 75ml bottle of quick clone gel?

Hi Hollis, thanks for asking! We usually get anywhere from 150-250 cuttings from a single bottle. Remember, never dip the cutting directly into the bottle. Hope that helped!

Can I use this and root in water or will it be diluted?

Hi,Yes you can absolutely dip cuttings into Quick Clone and place into water to root. You'll notice that some of the gel will dissolve, but most will stay on the stem. Thanks,Element Nutrients

Can it be used to clone a rose bush and a Rhododendron?

I would say yes. Grafting is an option for roses too. If you're just going for a clone though, I would suggest rockwool as your medium. Use your sterile scalpel for a clean 45 on your cutting. You won't need a lot of gel to stay on the cutting, just enough to seal the end and lightly coat the first half inch from the angled cut. I have zero experience with Rhododendron, so I'd rather not be wrong by guessing.
