If it weren't for the benefits, I would not give this to my kids. It tastes and smells ghastly. My son seems fine drinking it everyday, my daughter won't go near it. Not taking it, my son would be completely exhausted after nursery, after a few weeks taking it, he is more alert and doesn't have that 3pm afternoon slump. Just wish it didn't taste so grim

Easy way to supplement a modern diet and get the nutritional benefits of hydrolysed yeast without having to swallow giant tablets. Easy to open bottle that doesn't need to be kept in the fridge and the contents are remarkably tasty, even if a little bit sticky. Suitable for vegetarians but sadly not vegans so it looks like my other half is just going to have to keep on swallowing those nasty dry tablets instead.

I’ve been using biostrath for 30 years and I’ve given it to my 3 children since a year old. We take at breakfast everyday , but only a desert spoon. I don’t know how but it keeps all of us well with only rare short term sniffles. Simply brilliant!

Have been taking this for a couple of months after a bout of glandular fever and also having recently lost my mum. It tastes strange at first but now I love it. Really feel like it is doing you some good. Dont buy from Holland and Barret - it costs half as much again if you buy it there. Great value from this supplier and arrived really quickly.

I took this years ago and by chance saw it on a programme recently. Thought I might give it a go as I’m a vegetarian and like to add healthy supplements to my diet. My mother who is 72 started taking it the same day as me. We only started cautiously with a child’s dose as I never like to go too mad with new additions to the diet. Day 1 the taste was a throwback! I’d forgotten how awful it was so we took it before eating - but even then it kept repeating all day. It’s very strong - best in juice perhaps. Day 2 I felt horrendous! The worst I’ve felt in a long long time. Mum felt ok Day 3 mum felt horrendous- and we both felt drowsy all day. Not at all what I was expecting. Therefore after 3 days we are stopping - maybe we just don’t need it… but either way it’s £16 wasted The reviews were positive and strath say there are no side effects - but the fact we both felt worse on it was not ideal!
