I bought these for my husband for our anniversary. They were terrible, dried out, tough and not flavorful. The Best Buy date was April 12, 2016 and I got them 5 months later. They were quite expensive for just a few candies, close to $1.00 each. I expected better, that's for sure. My husband has a big sweet tooth, but these candies are still sitting around. That says it all. I won't buy them again.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and apologized sincerely for the poor quality of his Turkish Delights. Apparently they had gotten overheated. He promptly sent me a replacement along with a complimentary box of sugared bitter orange rind. I must say that my husband and I are VERY impressed with the Seller's service. My husband absolutely LOVED the orange rinds and would like to send his Mother some but they do not appear to be available on Amazon. The Turkish Delights are positively delightful. I tried all of them. Lots of nuts, slightly chewy, very sensual and with a lovely scent. I couldn't ask for more. This is a Seller who has gone the extra mile. In a word he's the Best of the Best!

This item arrived in good condition. This review is for box of assorted Turkish Delight. This product is absolutely fabulous. It is pricey in my opinion but in the end it is worth the money. This is the first time I have purchased Turkish Delight like this. My other purchases were only for the candy that has a light dusting of powdered sugar. I was nervous about purchasing something like this online and was afraid that it just wouldn’t be fresh. I did ask about the shelf life before I purchased and went solely off of that and the reviews of other consumers who had already purchased this product. I was not disappointed at all. This was very good. It arrived in time to me to take with me on a visit to see my daughter in law. The two of us always like to try out unusual and unique foods. We loved all of it. Of course we only took a sliver of each one and that was plenty. If there is one negative thing that I had to comment on it would be the size of each piece. I think that each one could easily be halved and one bite is enough to satisfy. I thought the best one was the rose. I really love how all of the candy has so many natural elements. I will probably be making another purchase to share at an upcoming event I will be hosting.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The seller is fast to respond to questions. The product is outstanding in my opinion. I will definitely be purchasing this product again and I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a different take on Turkish Delight!I rely on the reviews of others when making my decision to purchase a product. The flavors were absolutely delicious,but they were not fresh. A little stale and very chewy.

Glad tried these Turkish delights! Very tasty, great chewiness, fresh and just absolutely a Delight! I usually get my Turkish delights from a store in Monterey, CA but so glad to have found these. I'm not a fan of chocolate Turkish delights but these are my favorites and then the pomegranate with a hint of tartness. They are all Delicious from the assortment box.

Very fresh and a nice change from the regular bakery desserts from the store or what I can make. The package is very small; but the squares are dense and just a few are satisfying. I was very surprised when I liked the rose, it had a lovely strawberry like flavor and was very beautiful. The chocolate is very mellow, my favorite is the orange. I think that the product, while small is worth the money if a person wants something different for a treat or a tea for friends.

Turkish delight is one of my favorite treats so I took a chance on ordering these. The only ones I was interested in were the pistachio chocolate ones and for me personally, those flavors conflicted too much to be enjoyable. The other three types were very unique but as someone looking for a sweet Turkish delight flavored item they were, well, nasty. Ended up throwing them out.

Hi,My curiosity about this confection has been ongoing for decades after first reading about Edmond's obsession with it in the book, The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe.I dated a Turk for a year and he shared with me some pretty awesome food and drink experiences. Though all of the experiences were enjoyable and certainly memorable, none were quite as interesting to me as finally encountering lokum.While the confections I encountered in Houston were delicious, I don't remember any of them being quite like these from Mughe. These are indeed such a delight. I almost can't stop thinking about them!I purchased the assorted variety. They seem so decadent rolled in their various coatings. I can't even pick a favorite. They are all mouth watering, dense and chewy, and just the right amount of spice/sweetness.Update 20170511: After having ordered and tried a few other brands since, I need to add that Mughe's coatings of rose petals, saffron, chocolate also do something more than wow the eyes. They affect smell intensely as you bring the lokum to your mouth. The smell, the textures, affect the taste in a very interesting manner. Something I didn't notice until I tried other less decadent types.Thanks, Mughe, for making this experience a great one. I'll be ordering more for sure!

Very good ! Tastes fresh, not too sweet and very authentic.

The product is very tasty and I have received it similar to what is advertised. I was expecting to have more filled box but the flavour is great. I will definitely offer it as a gift or to reorder it. I encourage you to try it.

La prima volta che ho provato questi dolci è stata in Turchia, una varietà di gusti e sapori al top, la seconda volta che li ho presi è stata in Romania ovviamente erano sempre turchi fatti artigianalmente sempre di una qualità superiore, fantastici, ormai sono passati due anni e mi mancava quel gusto e sapore buonissimo, che dire, dopo aver mangiato in più di un posto tante prelibatezze orientali, dal Lokum al Baklava ecc.. credo di saper distinguere e orientarmi nel dire cosa è si e cosa no, questa cade nel mezzo, quando proprio non si ha alternative. C’è di meglio, bisogna cercarlo, sicuramente non è male come prodotto, si vede che è fatto bene, il gusto è ok però non merita questo valore monetario secondo me. Per questo prodotto che è un 6.5 secondo me bisognava o far scendere il prezzo o aumentare la quantità di prodotto, nella scatola non ci sono nemmeno 500 gr anzi non credo nemmeno che arriva a 400 gr. Hmm come ho detto c’è di meglio.
