Great product
Excellent product. Took a while to get used to but I sharpened all my knives in a couple of hours so that they are razor sharp. Comes in a lovely case to keep everything tidy and safe.

Perfect Addition
It is almost a must have, having every thing packed in a bag, organised, with additional stones which I have been using and achieving very satisfactory results.

I wanted an easy, professional level sharpening system that just worked! Too many gimmicks or systems that require a high skill level it seems. I chose this over the “professional” version at double the price because I didn’t think it was worth it to ad the digital angle gauge and the small knife holder. I had sharp knives within minutes of opening the box. Watch a video on its use to see some finer points. I tried to use the same motion when I got to the leather strop and it was cutting into the leather. Once I figured out to take shorter, incomplete passes with the leather it was off to the races. When I got to the paring knife I had to play with the knife in the clamp to avoid bumping the holder. This is where I believe the small knife holder would be cool - but you don’t need it if you adjust things to get clearance. Buy this one and most users will be thrilled. If you think you need or want the angle gauge or small knife holder then go for the pro version. I believe it has bigger abrasive plates that may help with keeping alignment as well.

For sharpening on a budget this is probably the top of the line and as good as it gets for angled sharpening. The system itself is very well designed and thought out and this shows in the results. The diamond plates and ceramic finishing stone are well capable of achieving a hair popping edge on your pocket knives and smaller kitchen knives. The stones are clearly labelled and conveniently on a tri grit system so changing to the next grit takes seconds without removing anything. The best thing of the worksharp is the fully adjustable angle so no matter what your knife comes at from factory its super easy to match it or re-profile to your desired one. Another plus point is the system is all conveniently held in a good quality carry case which makes storage easy and nothing gets lost or damaged when it's not in use. The biggest complaint I've seen about the worksharp is people saying it plastic base is too light and easy to fall over. I personally have never found this an issue with all of the knives I've used it on the base had no problems supporting it.

The perfect add on parts for my Work Sharp sharpening system and a quality case designed to hold everything perfectly safe and secure. Highly recommend.

Price was reasonable for the quality of the sharpening system. Assembly was super simple and the instructions provided great insite as to how the system works. The operation of the sharpener was easier than anticipated. The 3 tristones that came with the elite work great. The time it took to sharpen was not bad considering how dull one of my knives were. I needed an upgrade to my current sharpening system( it was a hand held where you spun the wheel to choose the rods to use). Didn't like that one since the day i bought it. This was an excellent choice for a sharpening system. I would even go as far as saying a complete novice would be able to get a great edge on any knife with minimal effort. I will be using this on a regular basis. Not sure if i can get replacement parts though( the trisharp stones, or any part that may break or be consumed)
