I’ve tried a number of cases, since I carry this iPad Mini around and use it in different contexts. This case offers decent protection, good hand feel, light weight, and compact size. Removable cover is a big plus.But there’s very little pencil retention and no pencil protection, so if that’s important to you, look elsewhere.

Works as expected

The case is great! I love that the cover detaches from the case when holding it long term without having to fold the cover back. The only downsides I have are the the front cover can shift up and down a lot making it feel not as sturdy but the magnets attaching it is, it’s just the flap that wraps around the back and the right side of the cover where the Apple Pencil would attach is somewhat flimsy and I’m scared it’ll loosen over time. The case is great would recommend.

Easy to install

It works exactly like the expensive Apple cover in the way the magnetic flap sticks to itself enabling the two positions I care about (pictured): standing up to watch videos and a low angle so I can type on it. There is a Spigen case much like this one that has an extra flap that is super annoying.BUT wait! There's more! UNLIKE the expensive Apple cover, the sides are protected from falls and scratches! Wait, you mean people drop their iPads? YES!!! We do. We're humans. This is why the Apple covers are actually terrible.The back is transparent, so I can see my purple iPad. I chose it because I like the color. I don't want to hide it away. Now I don't have to. I don't really care if YOU see it, but you can if you want to. And others can actually see it better than with many cases because...If you don't need the front cover flap, you can just rip that son of a gun off! It too just magnets itself to the back!TLDR:1) Cover positioning works exactly as expected.2) Drop and scratch protection is superior.3) You won't forget what color iPad you own.4) You get options.What more could you ask from a cover? Decent price too.

I is a great fit and really protects the iPAD my only recommendation is that it have different color options but I would RECOMMEND and but it again.

Absolutely adore this case. The floppy covers are great for protecting the screen but they drive me nuts while using. The detachable cover and clear back is everything I dreamed of. Throw a magnetic ring on it for a pop socket and it’s absolute perfection. 10/10 recommend.

Works great and excellent value. You have 2 cases in one. The front is a little loose but not a deal breaker and the magnets are very strong.Being able to detach the front cover makes a huge difference when using it for reading.
