Rocket Propulsion Elements Review: Lo mejor en propulsión de cohetes - Excelente libro!!! Review: So far the book is really detailed and gets to the point - I've only been working through the first few chapters. However, so far I like the pace of the chapters, with the breaks of example problems in between of the chapters. Some tips I've realized about the book I can share. Is try to do the example problems on your own first. It can be hard to not look at the answers, but they should be there guide you if you get stuck. That way when the end of chapters problems come in you are apply what you lean, and not having your hand held. Also, at the end of most chapters there are is a list variables. This chart is fundamental for the units since most of the formula assume that you know what the units are for different variables. But I will admit I do get lost in the equation and forget what relation I'm trying to balance. I guess that is my only complaint is that the units seem to take a back burner of the chapters. But again, you can make up for that by reviewing the units as you go through the formulas from the end of chapter variable table. Still working through the book, but so far I am enjoying the straight forwardness and fair progression of complex concepts. Small annoyance is really a rant on the Imperial System of units. This book has example problems in both Metric and Imperial, although I find that it is important to know both, imperial is just such a poor metric system to work with

I don't have copies of other editions and therefore I can't make an assumption of this book is either good or bad
The book does not explain equations very explicitly, you are required to have prior knowledge about Calculus and Newtonian physics. The book does give explicit examples, but its far away from enough. It does not really explain the equation how they derived the equation from it.I don't have copies of other editions and therefore I can't make an assumption of this book is either good or bad. Everything in this book based on mathematics, there are equations almost in every page of this book. First time buyer, probably gonna buy another book called liquid rocket nozzle design.

Comprehensive and very clear. Great for beginners
This is a review of the 9th edition: This book is the best technical book I have ever read. It’s a great and comprehensive intro to rocketry. It’s written in a clear style that explains in plain words the equations. It’s also a wealth of tips on what worked and what did not in the history of rocket development. The end of each chapter includes some practical case studies/ problems to check on your understanding (would have been even better with detailed answers in some instances). I particularly loved the table of all the symbols used in the equations with units at the end of each chapter, it’s a great help to quickly understand the equations. I am not an engineer by training but thanks to this book I understand the basics of rocketry and a little more than that actually! Highly recommended.

Rocket Engine Bible" for a reason
It is a quintessential reference for propulsion engineers. Only a few other resources are needed to round out knowledge (such as the practical Modern Engineering for Design of Liquid-Propellant Rocket Engines, by Huzel and Huang).

Gonna Build Me a Rocket Ship
Need to get FAA clearance but have gleaned enough knowledge to travel to the moon from this book. Seriously, its a great book and hard to put down.
