I installed it on the door between the garage and the house. There was a 1inch gap. On the garage side of the door, there is an elevated wood piece that is meant to keep the cold out/heat inside but it was not enough. I tried the 2-side piece that slides at the bottom of the door but it didn’t work because of the wood piece on the garage-side of the door. I returned it and ordered a one side only part. It comes with Velcro so that it can be removed in Summer. Very convenient, easy to install, you cut it to the correct length and it works as long as it’s installed correctly. I highly recommend it for those doors that can only have a one side draft cover. Made of foam in the inside (3 small, foam tubes). Removable for quick detachment in warmer months. I bought this product because I was tired of feeling the cold air and hearing the noise from outside my apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works! It was very easy to install and adjust to fit my door gap. It has a strong Velcro that keeps it in place and doesn’t interfere with opening or closing the door. It also looks nice and matches my white door. The product does a great job of blocking out the cold drafts and breezes that used to make me shiver at night. I can feel the difference in the temperature and comfort of my apt. It also reduces the noise and sound from outside, making it easier for me to sleep and relax. I don’t have to worry about dust, bugs, smoke or smell coming in either. This product is a must-have for winter and for anyone who wants to improve their living environment. It is versatile and suitable for all interior doors. It also helps me save on energy bills by keeping the heat inside.

First of all, a few tips on getting the foam rods into their casing: use a hairdryer on low to soften the casing, then lightly spray the rods with WD40 or cooking spray. They will slip in like a charm, no struggling or twisting. Notice in the first pic that the gap under my front door is very uneven. Old house, what can I say. Next pic is the one negative, the paper backing on the adhesive was cracked in many places making it very hard to remove. Used the hair dryer again to soften the paper and the adhesive which speeded the removal process greatly. Then I used the dryer again, as suggested in the instructions, to improve the adhesion of the velcro to the door. The next pic, you can see no gap! And the last shows how it looks from a distance. It definitely stopped the draft. Can't comment on noise control, as that isn't an issue for me.

I give it 5 stars because it did what I wanted it too although I had to cut it in half. It was easy to install and I highly r recommend for small doors too as you can see this is two small doors at the entrance to our basement. Worked great. Good quality and nice appearance.

White. 36" The adhesive on the velcro strips that you attach to the door is strong, even without the additional heating with a hair dryer. Unfortunately, after I placed the blocker against the door, I could still see light and feel air in the middle where one of the sponge tubes meets the next and I could not redo the velcro on the door because it stuck so well. Because it is velcro, you can adjust it but then the two strips of velcro don't match up and can cause it to pull away letting air in where it doesn't meet, as it did with mine. Another thing I have found is that the sponge tube inch their way out of the ends. Although it isn't much movement, I have had to push them in several times. I think mine can be remedied by applying a length of duct tape along the top of the tube sleeve and wrapping it around the edge of the door since that is where the two velcro straps now don't line up. I will also put a small piece of tape over the end of the tube sleeve to keep them in place. Overall, it does stop the air draft well when it is in proper place and it was a perfect fit. It certainly will do for the winter season.

I was a little skeptical that this product would work but I was surprised that it was easy to install on my door to my back porch. The 34 inch wide door had a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the wooden floor. The draft stopper was a perfect fit and no trimming was needed. It immediately stopped the draft coming through the bottom of the door. As the contacts are Velcro, it was very easy to make adjustments so that the bottom of the draft stopper was just above the wooden floor. As there is no friction between the draft stopper and the floor, the adhesive seems to be working well. Excellent price and excellent product. I have had no issues whatsoever with this draft stopper since it was installed. We just had our back porch screened in. The only option provided for the bottom of the screen door to stop bugs from crawling in was a really ugly aluminum threshold that we would have to step on or over. We instead installed this draft stopper and it fits perfectly and looks great. Excellent product!

These are the absolute worst things I’ve ever purchased! Do NOT let all the good reviews fool you like they fooled me. I was so excited about all the great reviews that I bought 3 of them. They were fairly easy to install, definitely not a hard task. And they seemed to be really good quality and sturdy too. I cleaned the doors that this product went on, really well. Like there was not any dirt or anything on the doors to make the product not stick. I let the doors fully dry before installation as well. After I got all three installed, took me probably about 25 minutes to set them up, cut them to the appropriate length for the doors and get them installed. I followed the directions to a T. I was super excited about them once I had them installed and thought they were perfect. I tested the doors a few times, they still opened and closed well and there were no issues. Well, I left for vacation for three weeks and when I came back, the first time I opened the first door with one of these on there, it just fell off. There was nothing in the way or pulling on it, there was no reason for it to fall off. So, I tried to put it back on and it will stick for a minute but it will fall off after awhile if I’m not using the door, maybe like 30 minutes, but if I try to open or close the door it will fall right off.. great. I already threw the packaging away so I can’t return that one. Then, the next day, the same thing happened to the second door!!! Same exact thing. Again, now I’m out of my money for two of these items…. And then a couple of days later, the third one fell off and did the exact same thing. So now, I don’t have anything on the doors. Mind you, these doors aren’t being opened and closed all the time. Very minimal use. They are a waste of money and time. Don’t buy them. I basically just threw my money in the trash since they don’t work and can’t be used and I can’t return them. Please, learn from my mistake and get something else.

It won't stick unless you do as the directions say. I cleaned mounting surface with alcohol. With hair dryer on high, stretch out item & heat to where the wrinkles fade. Insert the 3rd piece of foam & then heat again removing any wrinkles & straightening out. Unwrap the velcro & heat it up to straighten it out. Heat the glue strip with removable paper still secure. Take of paper strip as you press velcro onto mounting surface. Slide thumb as you go to remove any wrinkles that can cause velcro to pull away. Once applied run thumb end to end to help stick. Wait 5 mins for glue to sit & if no pull away from velcro, place item onto velcro. I think this item is good for Tile, Wood & Lenoleum. I wouldn't recommend for any carpet. I would get a brush type door sweep for carpet.

Es muy fácil de instalar y eso es un buen punto. Lo compré porque quería reducir el sonido de un baño que está en la sala y por su tamaño y por estar a desnivel se hace un poco de eco, al final no redujo el ruido, prácticamente no sirvió, sin embargo, funciona para evitar la salida o entrada de insectos, e incluso olores. Tampoco, recomiendo que quedé expuesto hacia un lugar/área donde se vea mucho, porque digamos que estéticamente no es muy bonito.
