iX1300 Automatic Document Scanner - Black - Business Card to A4, Duplex, USB 3.2 and WiFi

Works very well and has a small footprint.

We have the older model in the office and I decided to get this for home use. It's streets ahead, so much faster, excellent quality and means that I don't have to keep forest fulls of paper statements anymore.

simply amazing for home office use, it munches up and the papers and spits them back out. I notice if you put more than 10 to 15 it struggles with missing one etc but if it is just 5 to 9 pages it does well in one scan and has a fantastic softward

Seems OK once got used to setting it up except very "plasticy". Note that to enable to scan all that is listed, ie small sizes, photos, thick items, you need to purchase carrier sheets.

This is a fantastic evolutionary progress in this remarkable series of Scanners. It has revolutionised my workflow to the point where I look around for more 'awkward' scanning projects. A folded thick A3 card formed a double-sided survey document, presenting as two hinged A4 sheets. Placed in the front feed slot, it scanned both sides [front and back]. On frontal ejection, it was refolded and put in the slot to scan the inside pages. A rapid perfect result for something that would otherwise have to be scanned on a flatbed machine. Wanting to digitise an instruction manual, I removed the bound edge to provide a set of similar-sized sheets. The maximum capacity of the sheet feeder is said to be twenty. I found flimsy sheets could be stacked to fill the guides. In some cases, thirty sheets could be fed without any issues. Popping a till roll receipt into the sheet feeder without setting the guides or the front feeder [more suited to accept A4] emerged badly skewed, but the scanned image was perfectly aligned. All alignments on the iX1300 are magical. This is the go-to scanner to achieve a rapid, perfect finish.

This is a fairly easy to use piece of equipment. I know of Fujitsu ScanSnap pedigree because they've been used in my work environment and are fast and effective. The software is very intelligently implemented, which enables a non-stressed approach to scanning documents and ensuring that they're aligned, no matter the length and width. That said, the software may be a little complex for some folk - there is a learning curve - but the physical hardware scan button or manual feeder can be used at any time to get acceptable, no-fuss results. It is very small and compact so a great space-saving solution. Unassuming when you take a look at it, it's a bit like Optimus Prime rolling up as a beaten-up old semi, then transforming into an Autobot right in front of your eyes. Worthy addition to the home office - value for money.

The website description does not make it clear that this scanner ONLY works with its own proprietary software. It does not support TWAIN (which most scanners do) and therefore cannot be used to scan to things like Acrobat or other image programs directly - you have to go through the supplied software. This wastes a lot of time. Otherwise, the scanner looks good, is very small and if not for the absence of TWAIN would be a perfect home or mobile scanner!

Funciona muy bien y con una velocidad de mil maravillas. Funciona bien para documentos y también para documentos más pequeños, tickets, tarjetas,.... Recomiendo el producto sin dudar

Ich habe mir das Gerät gekauft, da ich zum einen ehebliche über die Jahre angesammelte Papiermengen loswerden wollte und zum anderen auch zukünftig die gelagerten Papiere reduzieren möchte. Bei großen Papiermengen und mit meinem alten Scanner (Office Kombigerät mit Drucker, Kopierer etc.) war das immer sehr mühselig. Dieser hier ist für meine Zwecke perfekt. 1. Er ist schnell und zuverlässig - Bei ungefähr ingesamt1000 Seiten, hatte ich einmal einen Papierstau, der sich leicht beheben ließ und an einer vergessenen Büroklammer lag. - Die 30 Blatt / 60 Seiten Einzug pro Minute machen Spaß - Kleinere Vorlagen wie Einkaufbons und Quittungen sind problemlos verwendbar 2. Die Scan Software hat alle Features die ich benötige und macht einen robusten Eindruck - Duplex funktioniert prima - Erzeugte Ausgaben sind qualitativ in Ordnung - OCR (Texterkennung) ist inkludiert und kann bei Bedarf angewendet werden, um z.B. PDF's durchsuchbar zu machen - PDF's sind per Vorgabe gut lesbar und dennoch von akzeptabler Größe und gut für den Versand geeignet. - Seiten sind genauso groß wie die Vorlage (z.B. Quittungen) - Dokumententitel und Datum (z.B. aus Korrespondenz) werden meist gut erkannt und als Dokumententitel vorgeschlagen - Leere Seiten (z.B Rückseiten) werden gut erkannt. - Seiten können nachträglich entfernt werden, wenn z.B. nicht relevant. - Eigener Dateiviewer vorhanden. 3. Klein und kompakt - Passt in jedes Büro, da sehr klein - Im zusammengeklappten Zustand wird im Standard das Gerät ausgeschaltet, beim Ausklappen des Papiereinzugs wird das Gerät wieder eingeschaltet Fazit: Tolles Gerät, macht exakt das was es soll!

Ik heb al jaren lang scanners in gebruik. Deze vergt enige aanpassing bij degene van de vorige serie, (ook al omdat er veel meer mogelijkheden zijn) maar als je eenmaal gewend bent wil je hem niet meer missen. Scant keurig een stapel documenten en kan vastleggen in verschillende formaten. Software is goed in te stellen, maar je moet het wel even goed doorlezen. Prima opvolger van de Fuji's die ook al geweldig waren. Ook het formaat is redelijk handzaam, ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat deze minstens zo goed is als zijn voorgangers maar gezien de software nog beter. Scant goed en snel een hele stapel. Ik heb overigens net een 2e besteld.

Scanner impressionnant. J'avais l'habitude d'utiliser mon imprimante HP 2600 qui prenait une éternité. Ce scanner est facile à installer et encore plus facile d'utilisation. Rapide et efficace même pour les documents étant difficilement lisibles.
