Beautiful artwork, lovely heart detail on binder. Weirdly arrived with a huge sticker and no packaging so had to clean sticky residue before I could use it. Lovely though

Product is as described, looks great - perfect layout

There should be a special kind of hell for companies that use that EXTRA sticky stuff on their packaging. You know the one I mean. The kind that won’t budge for water, soap, alcohol or vigorous scrubbing. The kind that smears instead of coming off. The stickiness that drives you mad every time you pick the item up and it feels like your toddler’s had their sticky mitts all over it. Dear Happy Planners: There is no need whatsoever to affix 3 sticky stickers to this diary! It has more than enough packaging on its own. There’s practically enough wasteful packaging to fill its own bin. The diary is taped securely with a plastic film, and has a firm plastic sleeve plus cardboard covers as well. But they still chose to affix it with industrial strength stickers on both the front and back. After trying everything else I could think of, from dish detergent to peanut butter to vodka and vinegar, I finally used some WD-40. Stickers rubbed right off. You’re welcome dear reader. Oh, and the diary is fantastic. Love the size, flexibility, pages, layout and style. Couldn’t ask for more. Except that it didn’t have this sticky stuff on it!

I opted to get a Happy Planner as it seems really popular with a lot of people. First of all I love the design. That’s what made me chose this planner as well. It is colourful inside and out. My problem is with the cover. For the price point of £29.99 (full price) the cover feels cheaply made- like a DIY laminated job. It did not come with any other packaging so the cover is scratched up and has a lot of micro abrasions already-this even before you use it! The discs also feels flimsy, I’m surprised it survived shipping. I did not have high expectations for the paper inside but to my surprise it held well against gel pens and there were no bleed throughs. I do like the designs inside, there is a lot of space provided for writing and decorating so you can really personalise it still even though it’s colourful already. Would I recommend this planner? If Happy Planner finds a way to improve the DIY laminated look of the cover-yes! Or perhaps I’m missing the whole point and that’s how it was supposed to look? And maybe instead of half plastic cover/packaging just add a whole paper sheet cover on the front and back. This would have been more eco friendly and would have protected the laminated cover way better than the half plastics.

Received my item today after being slightly concerned from other reviews recently about there being scuffs on the covers, but hoped it was just a glitch. Unfortunately my concern was justified and as well as scuffs, one of the plastic rings is also missing. Very disappointed.

Looks nice. But with Wednesday and Thursday too close to the rings of the spine and it is vertical (why!!) rather than horizontal. It’s pretty horrible to write in. I’ll go back to clever fox next time. Much nicer diaries.

This is my first Happy Planner and I am a little disappointed that it only has American holidays. The daylight saving time is a different day for example and Mothers day is also on a different day. It would be nice to have a UK Happy Planner option

This is the second Happy Planner I have had. I love them! I like the layout with the month at a glance, and then the days separately with room to write more detailed information. I love the cute designs. The only thing I wish is that they had a pocket to carry things in.
