These worked great last winter for shielding our tender tree trunks as they healed from a nasty bout with fungus infections. They are easy to wrap and kept frost and freeze from causing additional problems. The trunks were unwrapped in spring and we were amazed at the healthy growth of bark in earliest spring. Great value as well! There is sufficient length to do a good job of protection. The thickness allows for breathing, but does not smother the bark.

Used to wrap some potted trees that are staying out for the winter. They are heavy and durable and I believe they'll keep my tree happy all winter.

I used this burlap to protect my fox tail palm tree during the last cold spell here in Florida, and it worked wonderfully. The material is thick, breathable, and easy to wrap around the trunk and crown without damaging the fronds. We had a few unexpectedly chilly nights, and I was worried about cold damage, but the burlap provided just the right amount of insulation while still allowing air circulation. After the cold passed, my palm showed no signs of stress or browning.

I wrapped a small red maple in Massachusetts. The wrap is easy to use. I used jute twine to hold the wrap in place.

I like the width of this wrap. It is much easier to use. I like the burlap material that is a breathable burlap fabric. I am using it to protect my young trees against rabbit damage.

Used these along with cloth covers. Definitely saved my small trees during a freeze. I used them to cover the trunks.

Did the job

With winter approaching I wanted to be ready if we had low temperatures with frost or snow as I have newly planted palm and olive trees. I bought these hessian wraps to protect the trunks of the trees. They are easier and more manageable to use than wider sheets which often require a second pair of hands. I haven’t used them yet but the quality is good and the price comparable to other makes.
