Jura 2-Phase Cleaning Tablets for Fully Automatic Coffee Machines, 25 Count

Arrived timely with no broken tablets. Packaged and sealed well in bottle. Original Laboratory Jura product on the label. I inherited a Jura ENA 3 older machine that had not been used much at all over the years for an older machine. I knew I should perform all maintenance despite the Jura screen not prompting me to do anything. I brewed a few cups before using the tablets and coffee seemed just fine and acceptable. Took a couple days for these tablets to arrive and I performed back to back Cleaning cycles on the Jura with one tablet in each cycle as instructions state. Maybe overkill to run back to back cycles but I was unsure if maintenance had been neglected. Also replaced water tank filter with the Clearyl blue filter. Rinsed the system a couple of times and cleaned everything real well. My next cups after this process I could tell a noticeable difference. It even sounded like the internal pump is not working as hard. I can’t confirm if that’s the case but it sounded smoother compared to before the cleaning. The coffee flowed nicely out of the spouts and overall tasted better. I will continue using these as a maintenance cleaning item in addition to descaling.

It's a great product that I've been using for years on our Jura machine with no problems. This time it arrived packaged differently though. It arrived in a flat, folded cardboard package with individual clear plastic bubbles for each tablet. The tablets push through the scored cardboard to release. I prefer the small plastic bottle for storage rather than the card. Luckily I had the previous bottle that wasn't used up yet, so I popped the tablets out of the cardboard into the bottle. The listing should be updated to reflect the new packaging.

These are the real deal and work perfect for the Jura. if you have a Jura you spent between $800 -$3000 dollars don't gamble on an inferior product. I bought and tried the less expensive product thinking they would be as good . It seemed at first they were OK . Well after a while my machine didn't work as well and my espresso was coming out in spurts. I went back to the real Jura 2 stage now its back to normal . DON'T SETTLE for the Cheap Stuff. I'm back to great tasting coffee (you'll taste the difference you'll see ) and I feel like I'm back in Italy

in order to keep your jura machine working properly, it must be cleaned periodically...these Jura tablets work best. if you don't use the Jura tablets, the warranty could be void and the cost of having your machine repaired is quite hefty...so recommend that you invest in the tablets now or pay the price later. this supplier is the cheapest I could find online. we have owned a jura machine since 2004 and have always cleaned the machine as required, about every 3 months or so many cups of espresso and have had no issues with our Jura machine due to poor cleaning.

We're using substitute products to descale our Jura, but using these for the cleaning cycle. The water that comes out in the rinse is brown & coffee bean oily, so it is without a doubt effective. I just think all of the brand name cleaning & maintenance supplies are after-market over-priced opportunities for the companies to get more money out of the consumer. That said, for the purpose of cleaning our very expensive super-automatic coffee machine, I'll stick with these.

This is 3.5 ounces of cleaning agent (3.5 grams per tablet) for $34.90 That's $10.00 an ounce. It is basically OxiClean, sodium carbonate and sodium percobonate, per the MSDS. OxiClean can be had for 11¢ an ounce. Can you clean your super automatic with OxiClean? Maybe. Now this does have a bit of sodium lauryl sulfate, a surfactant, that OxiClean does not. I'm guessing that 3.5 grams of Oxiclean and a single drop of Dawn may do the job and I will try that on my old original Jura F7. If it still comes out foamy during the rinse, I'll decrease the Dawn using a needle and syringe. Having said all that, I have been using these tabs for years and they work fine. Rather than wait for the prompt, I clean my machine weekly, mainly to keep the spouts free running. And for $1.40 a tab that's not going to break the bank. But if I can get the same result with 1.5¢ of OxiClean, that would be handy to know!

These tablets are expensive compared to the off-brands but I didn't buy an off-brand coffee machine and I prize great coffee in many versions, with and without milk/foamed milk/etc. So, rather than save money, I go for quality.... I have been using these tablets for 15+ years and rely on them, along with keeping the machine clean, inside and out, and I am very happy with the coffee and machine performance. I recommend this product for all Jura coffee machines!

Although the product is not the most glamorous, it provides an incredibly valuable function - keeping your very expensive coffee machine in good working order and producing excellent quality coffee. I am sure there are cheaper tablets available but these are excellent (as shown by the colour of the water after the cleaning cycle) and at about £1 per tablet (less if you buy in bulk) they seem like a reasonable deal to me. The dual action cleaning does make a difference and has helped keep my Jura running smoothly for over 6 years now. Hopefully this batch will keep it running for another few hassle free years. Worth noting that the seller was excellent as well. Delivered exactly on time and undamaged.
