Appears to be drying my horrific rash from the inside
I have spent over a week using ivarest, calamine, benadryl, and jewelweed and lye soaps. These offered very short-lived relief and overall my rash has continued to spread. I was having a strong and growing reaction that included lumpy swelling in my forearms that was visible from yards away, redness covering most of my forearms, and of course the classic ugly itchy vesicles with some areas starting to resemble second degree burns. The burned appearance followed and was probably due to the roughly 36 hours of relief I got from trying something I read online involving rinsing in very hot water, which actually stopped the itching longer than any of the topicals I tried. This product, for reasons that I really wish someone could explain and completely allude me, seems to be working from the inside out. I still feel VERY itchy A LOT of the time, especially right before the next dose is due. But physically, the vesicles and swelling disappeared by the second day and the redness is almost gone at the third day. I have had severe poison ivy rash before, and this is definitely a huge and accelerated improvement from anything I've experienced before. I will try to update in a few days. I REALLY hope I get to not be itchy again soon! Unfortunately, I am in a situation where I cannot completely 100% ensure no repeat contact with the plant. In fact, I am fairly certain I have had one or two other recent exposures to tools and objects that touched poison ivy. So I am both very allergic and subject to ongoing exposure risk despite many precautions--a pretty good test subject. (The urushiol oil can apparently survive for 5 years on surfaces and cause a reaction in tiny, tiny amounts, so I am assuming that anytime I see it or am in an area where it recently was I am at risk of exposure.)UPDATE Feb 2025 I still rely on this product and keep it on hand, but I have come to prefer the homeopathic liquid drops that are a mix of multiple things, not just rhus tox. I do a lot of brush clearing and gardening in a variety of settings throughout the year, usually at a rushed pace. Especially in spring, it is easy to get exposed to a root or something my tool touches that doesn't even have leaves yet and then not have time to shower until the evening. Maybe sometimes it's poison oak and that's why the blended products work better for me. Bottom line on this and similar products for me--it is an essential tool if you are exposed but it is always better to avoid exposure if possible. I have multiple periods each year where I am itchy or a bit red, but I no longer have the huge ugly reactions that spiral out of control, thanks to homeopathic remedies like this one.

These work
Pretty confident these work. Didn't get poison ivy when I knew it was around where I was working. Take before during and after so plan ahead.

Poison Ivy Issues at 65+ YO?
Although I played in and around it (almost daily) growing up, I never had as much as a pink spot.Fast forward 60 years ... I pulled three vines of poison ivy out of a tree, and I was covered from face to calves! Many, many people told me to pick up a bottle of these pills. I seemed to be the only person on earth that didn't have a clue these pills existed.A little too late for this surprise round, but I have been taking them as directed for the past couple of days. Are they really working, or am I just finally getting better from time?Too many friends have recommended the pills, so I will definitely start using them prior to pulling any vines in the future, plus I will shower immediately after any suspected contact.I will update this review in the future as needed, but for now I will give them a thumbs-up.

Sugar pill don't bother
I mean maybe useful if for a baby that is too young to have anything else. I know based on how sugar metabolizes in babies it can help for a pain reliever. For adults nada, but well if your poison ivy is as bad as mine buy it for hope that I as wrong?

Can't tell if it even did anything
My husband is very allergic to poison ivy. So we were told to give these a try. We can't tell that it did anything. No difference in how his body was dealing with it. Actually no. I'll change that. It made him itchier for the first two days off and on. Like a tingling. He ended up just going back to his regular routine.

Used twice so far
I am extremely sensitive to poison ivy! I've gotten it from dirty clothes, my husband's arm, and seemingly the air...just being nearby. Anyway, this product has worked twice and I did not react!! I don't care how it works but it does! Generally, I need put on prednisone and creams when exposed so I've saved lots of $$ so far having this in my first aid kit. Highly recommend!
