very surprising
I've had this Bosch DAB+ site radio in my basket for a little over 8 months now as I couldn't justify the purchase, until now.I'm terribly fussy when it comes to sound and though this radio is only for the shed and garden, the quality has to be pretty darn good at over £200+.there are very little reviews for this radio and lets be honest, what on earth does Bosch know about sound reproduction ? they make tools for almost any job.we are all loyal to a particular brand ie Bosch Makita Milwaukee and DeWalt etc etc. I'm a Bosch man and I was fortunate enough to replace all my old green tools with Bosch professional. amazon had done well from me lol.so why this radio ? Bosch has a couple as do Milwaukee. DeWalt have several and Makita has around 500 haha.build quality is typical bosch. really good quality materials and very robust.layout is simple and very easy to use.features are excellent for DIY or site work.I've been able to listen to some of the other radios and well, like I said, what do any of them know about sound quality and they made an acceptable sound ish...However, the Bosch. flipping heck. GO BUY THE Bosch Professional GPB 18V-5 SC DAB+/Bluetooth Radio 18v / 240v.IT IS, pound for pound a class above the rest in every way, and on site, I can imagine productivity increasing 10 fold with its feel good sound quality.well done Bosch. I'm impressed and that's saying something....

Great radio,loads of features, 3pin plug sockets
Very good radio with, usb charging connections, and double sockets, for charging phones,etc..Good sound, heavy unit but well built. Bought for workshop and patio areas.

Excellent
Fantastic radio reliable consistent clear easy to handle like all blue Bosch. However it eats the life out of your batteries this doesn’t bother me as I have plenty but it’s something to consider

Bosh quality
I've always rated bosh and its tools . I wanted a work companion and I've gotit , clever and the sound is great for working outside, many features. Be aware of the battery and charger prices though ! Great bit of kit !

Great radio
This is a really good radio. Have been thinking of buying one for a while but the cost and that it doesn’t charge the battery when plugged into the mains. Apart from that, easy to set up and use so would recommend
