Still an AWESOME Tv Show
Works perfectly and the case was in good condition. Wished that it had the slip cover to it, just cause the first and third has them, but I’m just really glad that I got this season to complete the collection. So nothing to complain about here. Thankful for a great series.

Come Back Soon
My whole family likes Zoo, but for some reason we all agree that it's not like other series. It always seems to go away for too long a period of time at which point you forget what happened the last time. It's not like Grimm, The Walking Dead, etc. I had to watch season one in order to understand season two. Now they say season three will air this summer of 2017. Well, all I know is I'll have to watch season two all over again first before I begin season three. All in all, it's a pretty good program.

A worthwhile viewing experience
Mindful of the need to not stand still and rest on their laurels, the producers of "Zoo" took their characters - and their viewers - for an emotional roller coaster ride in this, the show's second season.I applaud their decision to be bold in their approach to character development.I just think they went a bit too far and, as a result, rather than keeping me fully engaged in the story they left me wondering how members of the team were going to survive emotionally from one episode to the next. The team dealt with - among other things - the death of one member, the addition of another, the reappearance of a father long thought dead, the radical transformation of a mother into a monster, a massive betrayal, a doomed love affair, and... well, you get the idea. The point is, at least in my opinion, that the producers chose to sacrifice story for shock value and came up short as a result. Throughout the season the emotional traumas came fast and furious but it was difficult for me to see how they advanced the storyline in every respect. For example: I get that in an end-of-the-world drama people are going to die but their deaths should move the story forward, not simply shock me.The decision to focus on shocking viewers rather than pushing the story further was a mistake, I think, because it is the story more than the characters that drives "Zoo." This isn't to say that the characters aren't important and that they shouldn't be developed. Of course they are and, of course, they should but not to the point that the season's episodes take on the look and feel of a daytime drama. Unfortunately, however, some of the episodes this season made me wonder if I was, in fact, watching a very clever science fiction adventure or "General Hospital."That said, this was still a worthwhile viewing experience with a couple of very nice twists woven into the season. The acting, even though the actors were asked to deal with some overwrought scripts, was still at a very high level. The decision, for example, to add sci-fi veterans Peter Outerbridge and Joanne Kelly as continuing characters throughout the season was, I thought, inspired. The special effects continued to be excellent throughout the season and the cinematography continued to meet the show's high standards.Overall: A 4.5-star season due more to the acting and special effects rather than the writing.

Never have been a big Sci-Fi fan so I avoided this while it was being broadcast it's 1st and 2nd seasons. Bought a cheap copy of season one on a lark and I'm hooked. Good casting and while I've not read Patterson's book the theory of animal take over is interesting. Also, killing off a star never hurts a series..

Man on the Menu
I've been avidly following the series. The premise of animals getting tired of humans and attacking en masse includes a team that kind of falls in with one another. They form a group trying to offset and end the animal apocalypse before Mankind becomes the endangered species.
