Best Camera Strap I Have Ever Used!
This is the best camera strap I have ever tried and is an immediate recommendation from me. Firstly, this camera strap is small and made from quality material. The strap is most similar to that of a car seat belt but because of it's compact design, it is surprisingly very comfortable to wear. The strap also has loops on the sides to easily adjust the height of the strap which is much better than the regular stock straps your camera comes with. Secondly, this strap has what Peak Design calls their "Anchor Link System" and it is an absolute game changer. They are quick release straps that enable you to easily take off the strap for easy storage or use while taking pictures. The main issue with regular straps is that the tend to get in the way when you want to take a portrait shot with your camera but with this strap, you can easily detach the anchor and easily attach it later. They even include 2 more anchors and another item to screw into the bottom of the camera to attach another anchor point so you can wear the camera across the body (which is my preferred way to wear this strap). Lastly, this strap has made me want to take my camera out more often. It's great design, quick release, and the portability make this strap truly a must have item. Just buy it!

LOVE IT, amazing sling
I recently purchased the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap in Sage Green for my smaller DSLR, and I’m beyond impressed! As someone who values both functionality and aesthetics, this strap checks all the boxes. Comfort: First off, the comfort level is outstanding. The strap is made from a soft yet durable webbing that feels great around my neck or shoulder, even during extended photo sessions. Unlike other straps I've tried, it doesn’t dig into my skin or feel cumbersome. It’s lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for long days of shooting. Design & Quality: The Sage Green color is a sleek, understated look that pairs beautifully with my camera, adding a bit of personality without being too flashy. The build quality is top-notch—everything from the stitching to the hardware feels solid and premium. The aluminum hardware is smooth to the touch, and the anchors provide a secure attachment without feeling bulky or intrusive. Versatility: What really stands out is the versatility of the Leash. The quick-adjust feature makes it so easy to change the length of the strap depending on whether I want to wear it around my neck or over my shoulder. The anchors are also incredibly easy to attach and detach, so I can swap between using this strap and a different one, or even pack it away in a bag when I don’t need it. Security: I also appreciate the security this strap provides. My camera feels well-supported, and the quick-release system gives me peace of mind knowing it’s securely attached when I’m out and about. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my Peak Design Leash Camera Strap. It's a well-thought-out design that combines comfort, functionality, and style in a way that few other straps can match. If you're looking for a premium, reliable strap for your system camera or smaller DSLR, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Great stealth strap!
Ok...I was a skeptic at first. It's just a camera strap with a novel QR design. But it seems like a lot of people like theirs. I have several other camera straps that for the most part work rather well. So when I picked up an old Nikkormat film camera I wanted a strap with that was easily removable, easily adjusted, and not too bulky where I can easily take it off and throw it into a pocket or bag. The Leash ticked off all the boxes. When I received the strap I was very impressed. Not only did it meet all my expectations, but I love its stealth nature...you hardly realize it's there. And the QR design is simply perfect. You hardly notice them there when off strap. I'm now considering getting the Slide Lite for my heavier cameras. My Nikkormat isn't tiny by all means, but I don't use any lenses on it over 50mm so the Leash is just right. For a modern DSLR with larger lens or old film SLR with a motor drive I would probably go for the Slide or Slide Lite, but for smaller cameras the Leash is ideal.

Highly portable and compact!
I am already a huge fan of this! Used it right away for a wedding, and it just made my on-body setup so much cleaner. Comfort was pretty good, but to start, even with a collar, the edge of this strap was still a bit abrasive and dug through my shirt to where I had to occasionally readjust it lower on my shoulder until it crept back up again. Overall, very solid and I do not lack confidence in holding my R6II w/ Sigma 70-200mm lense and a speedlight. Felt significantly better than the standard PD strap as it is much thinner and more flexible. Although, the adjustment pull straps aren't as responsive/easy to adjust as the ones on the standard strap. Keeping this one on my shoulders for sure!

Great camera strap
I have been putting off buying a camera strap for months now but finally decided to go with this one. I was debating on whether to get the Leash or the Slide Lite but ultimately went with this one because it seemed easier to handle and is cheaper. My main concern overall was price. At $50, this strap is not cheap. But after using it and getting a feel for it, I can say that yes, it is worth the $50. Of course, like all things, it would be better if it was cheaper but I think $50 is a good price for what you get. The strap material itself is a lot thicker than what I imagined, the anchoring system is very quick and convenient, and the overall aesthetics are great. My only real complaint is the sliding/adjusting mechanism. There are no clips like there are on the Slide and Slide Lite. You have to pull on two additional straps on each side of the strap to adjust the length. It is much easier to make the strap longer by pulling down than it is to make it shorter by pulling up. Besides that, I think this is a great camera strap. The quality is there and for $50, it should be.

Best strap EVER!!!
If you routinely carry a heavy lens or pro rig, this review probably won’t help you. If, however, you are like most people and have a fairly light body and reasonable lens, this strap is the best thing going. I bought this in early 2019 looking for a better way to manage my camera when dealing with more active adventures and to help keep the strap away from my right hand. In Dec of 2019, I traveled through India for 3 weeks and this strap proved its worth. First, I don’t attach it like most straps. One end attaches to the left strap point like “normal”. But the other end loops around the screw that holds my tripod plate in place so that the strap comes out the left side of the plate. The camera hangs right side down. I lengthen the strap nearly full length so I can put it over my head and left arm through. Camera stays on the left or with a yank, I can move it into the small of my back. This solves 2 issues. First, going from handheld to tripod is quick and efficient. Second, there is no strap near my right hand that gets in the way. Since the right hand is operating the bulk of the controls, this was vital. The smooth and slippery style of the strap slides easily over clothing allowing the camera to hang, get yanked into your back or grab fast and not have the strap catch or snag. The thread-like attachment points bothered me, but going on 7 years, multiple trips to India (trekking the Himalayas, scrambling in old temple complexes, tiger safaris, and other active adventures), trips to Serbia, Europe, the Rockies, etc and I’m still using the original mounts. I tend to toss my camera around my body when situations require my hands, so I’ve a lot of faith in those tiny loops. The quick release buckles hold and are easy enough to release. Thing is - I rarely feel a need to get rid of the strap. It’s that out of the way. I’ve put nearly 35,000 shutter operations on my current camera and this strap has been there for most of them. Forget what is conventional, try this. You might be a convert.

Peak Design, Low Profile, & High Performance
I use Peak Design religiously for my amateur photography needs. I use 7 of their products on a regular basis and this Leash is number 8. Yes, they can be expensive. However, you’ll get excellent customer support, a lifetime warrantee on all their products, and it just works. I have experienced such consistent performance and quality from their products that I don’t bother reading reviews or looking at competitors anymore. That being said, I had a problem with the previous camera strap I had purchased from PD. It was just too wide and sometimes cumbersome to use on just a Nikon D7500 with a simple 50mm lens. I didn’t need the strength and support that the strap provided. If you have longer, heavier camera lenses you should look for a sturdier strap like that one. Now that I’ve purchased and tested the Peak Design Leash I’ve determined it’s what I need. I’m not a professional but I am passionate about quality. This product is convenient, conscientiously designed, low profile, light, and stylish. I am a fan of the shade of green used. All of my past complaints are solved with the Leash. I can easily snap a shot without having to finagle anything and I can almost forget that I have the camera around my neck due to the comfortable design. The quick release anchors are secure and true to their name. Although not relevant to me now, if I do start using heavier lenses I can quickly swap straps with ease due to the compatibility of the quick release with both products. I can’t speak to whether you could find a cheaper alternative. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could. However, if you want a camera strap that is light, low profile, that is guaranteed quality, stylish, and is thoughtfully designed then this is the strap for you.

Good for lighter cameras
Currently using this on my canon r50, with the 18-45mm lens it's comfortable to wear as a sling. When I have my 100-400mm lens on it gets a little heavy and I could see prolonged consistent use being a little uncomfortable. If you're up and down shooting it's probably not an issue, I also paired this with the falcam f38 strap quick release. Adjusting the length is smooth enough and stays in place, takes some getting used to though. The strap is a little stiff at the start but it seems like it will break in with use. If I get another one I'll probably get the wider strap for more comfort.
