Great dye. Terrible gloves
I started to use this product when pregnant due to not having so many harsh chemicals. I use it to cover my grey and it lasts amazing it doesn’t wash out and only have to reapply due to growth. Great value for buying in bulk. I love the Color as it is quite natural. It doesn’t have such a strong smell as some as the other and I don’t get burning or anything to my head when I use. One bad bite is the gloves they come with are terrible and always end up with holes. Buy yourself a box of disposable gloves unless you don’t mind dying your fingers for a few days .

Itch-free Alternative to the Market Leaders
I have been using Naturtint for 20-25 years, since I first found it at Whole Foods around 2000-2004? The leading commercial hair dye, as well as the ones used by professional hairstylists, were making my scalp itch a lot, so I knew there was a problem with them, likely an allergy that was getting worse. I switched to this product and have never looked back. I generally color my own hair to save money and time, but when I go to a hair salon, I take it with me and the stylists are happy to use it. I get compliments on the color (I actually mix 6N with 7N to match my natural color) including from hairstylists. The color lasts, my scalp doesn’t itch, the spillover dye washes off my face easily, the price is very competitive, its availability has been steady for 20 years, and the product is easy to use. As a bonus, it comes with a conditioner that I have found comparable to an Argan conditioner. Since I use two boxes a month, I never run out of free conditioner. Bottom line: this is the best hair color I have found for my needs so far. There are safety concerns with all hair dyes, though, so there is room for innovation in this product group.

Beautiful color!!!
** Natural, Gentle, and Beautiful Color!**I’m so impressed with Naturtint 3N Dark Chestnut Brown! The color turned out rich, vibrant, and very natural-looking—exactly what I was hoping for. It provided full gray coverage and left my hair feeling soft and healthy, not dry or damaged like with other dyes I’ve used.I really appreciate that it’s ammonia-free, vegan, and cruelty-free. It didn’t have a strong chemical smell, and the process was easy and mess-free. The results have lasted well, with minimal fading after several washes. If you’re looking for a more natural, effective hair dye that’s kind to your hair and the planet, this is it. I’ll definitely be buying again!

Covers grey without damaging hair
Covers my grey. Hair does not feel stiff or fried after use. Since it’s natural it only lasts about 4-5 weeks. My hair lightens naturally during the summer so it’s fairly easy to blend in. I’ve been using for several months now and I am extremely happy with the quality

Ammonia less color that works!
Nice color with no ammonia and thus no icky smell. There is a fragrance but it’s pleasant. It arrived as reflected on the page and the seller gave me free samples of hair masks and a slightly lighter color that I can try for summer. The color comes with a hair mask that really softens your hair. Very pleased.

Changed Formula?
I dyed my hair with this brand of hair color for many, MANY, years, until I stopped dying my hair for about 5 to 6 years, and started again recently. I am not sure what is going on, but it can't be the same formula. My hair always loved this brand in the past, the copper color would come out mid-tone and rich, and last a decent amount of time despite the fact that I use dandruff shampoo.I have dark ash blonde hair naturally, but I used color oops to get out another red, so I was starting with a darker blonde roots and my ends being a lighter blonde. The Terracotta Blonde dyed my hair a fairly dark red which washed out very quickly. The Copper Blonde barely did anything. I also got Golden Blonde for my ends, but it somehow turned ashy mid blonde?I have some virgin hair extensions (lighter natural blonde) and tried the Copper Blonde and Golden Blonde... again, the Copper Blonde barely did anything, very dull and lifeless, and the Golden Blonde turned the hair darker and ashier? I wanted to try to make sure I wasn't being stupid and doing something idiotic, but it turned out weird on extensions, too, so I have no idea. Not sure what's going on. I am very sad because this brand was my go to for a long time. If it still works for you and your needs, I am very happy for you. Unfortunately, I will have to move on. :(

Naturtint is a good value and a good product!
I am very happy with Naturtint. It is very easy on the scalp and covers my gray (very gray) very well. The color I use, ash blonde is very close to my normal color. Ease of application and full directions are good. I love the conditioner and use it with every shampoo, since you use very little each application. Good product overall!

No odor
No ammonia smell that makes my eyes water! Color shade is ad advertised and it is permanent. It doesn't fade over time. If only it would cover the gray roots as my hair grows out automatically.
