Ah, behold the marvel of modern canine engineering! The PETGEEK treat dispenser is, quite frankly, the butler I never knew I needed—for my miniature Harlequin pincher, Nugget, that is. Now, Nugget, a creature with the energy of a caffeinated squirrel and the attitude of a retired Shakespearean actor, refuses to wind down even after a full day at the office.Enter this brilliant blue contraption, which I have affectionately dubbed The Snack Cannon. With the remote button discreetly relocated from room to room, I have transformed my flat into a full-blown episode of Downton Abbey: The Cardio Edition. Nugget dashes between button and bowl, huffing, puffing, and giving me his best “how dare you move the royal snack button” glare, followed by a dramatic growl and a tail flick worthy of a West End exit. Not only does it physically exhaust the little tyrant, but it also provides endless entertainment for the humans in residence. And the mental stimulation? Oh, he’s plotting strategy like he’s on The Great British Bake Off, but with kibble. In summary: it’s sturdy, clever, and endlessly amusing. Nugget approves. I approve. The neighbours may not approve of the barking encore performance, but what do they know of high culture?Highly recommended for energetic dogs and their exhausted, slightly mischievous human companions.

Great for high energy dogs!
My dogs love this!! Only took a few days for them to figure it out and now they’re nothing but wagging tails and doggy grins!!

My dog figured out our before I did.
This toy is super fun. The instructions leave a little wanting. It doesn’t tell you small things like flip this little piece over the part that tumbles. That’s very important. If not, it’ll just rotate, but not dump the treat. I mean, I figured it out after a few aggravating 20 minutes. The button it comes with will get thrown across the room if you have a bigger dog. My husky gets excited and paws at it and it just flips over and over The rubber piece that it sits in flips like one of those frogs you used to use to make in school… The paper ones you fold up and flick? The suction cup that comes with won’t suction to anything. We have not tried the stake in the yard yet. So I’m not sure if that one is going to be the winner for this game. However, that would make it a strictly outside toy. So I basically have to hold the button and let him push it and then he can go get his cookies. With a few thoughtful upgrades, this could really be amazing. It is on the cheaper side for this type of training tool so I will figure some things out to make it more useful for us. We also have fun playing with it and since we have to hold the button. When he hits it and goes to get his treats, we pass the button to someone else. So it is an interactive game for everybody lolI do really like the option, that you can use batteries to run this, or you can plug it into the wall. That is a nice function. In the manual, it will say that this is a charging cord. The next sentence will say do not use the power cord if you have batteries in it. Makes it sound confusing. It’s not a charging cord. It’s just if you want to plug it into a wall outlet. You might miss in the description that you are going to need batteries. It does not come with them. I love the Amazon basic batteries. They last about as long as Rayovac. Great Price point and even better if you do the subscribe and save. You will need AAA and C batteries.

Might be Good for Dogs which Do not Problem Solve
My GSD had this taken apart in 9- seconds and had ball out of middle getting treats out of it however she has been doing complicated treat puzzles for nearly 5 years and is a service dog so maybe........

MY MINI AUSSIE LOVES IT
The media could not be loaded. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this lil thing. i’ve been wanting it for a while, so bad i used my birthday money on my dog instead of me. my babyboy has flown thru alll of his many many many puzzles and slow feeders he needed something more challenging. it even helps to get a lil extra energy out instead of finishing xtra hard puzzles in less than 2 minutes. it took him less than 8 hours to figure it out the button goes with the feeder and just feeds himself now. it’s helpful to have a button press command fyi lol. IT IS SO WORTH YOUR MONEY

Sometimes works and sometimes does not
Three stars because even though my dog knows how to push a button, sometimes nothing comes out of the dispenser. That's disappointing to her so I have to sit near it and toss a treat in when that happens. Otherwise, she finds it to be a lot of fun.

Yesssss!!! Get it!!
The media could not be loaded. My Rosie is a blue heeler/mini Aussie mix (we dna tested her). She’s spoiled so of course she had to have this! Now this is how she eats her food. I only fill it with her dog food. She loves it. She’s very active so this keeps her busy. And if it’s empty she will all but jump on the button then come look at me. Was easy to set up. I taught her by keeping on pushing the button base towards her til any part touched the button. Then yelled Yes which is our cue word when she gets something right. I had already taught her in a similar fashion to push a door bell to ask to go outside to potty. I gotta say the batteries in the base button has held up well. 2 months of using it most of the day, daily. I did take it with us one day so I plugged the dispenser into a battery pack and that worked just fine too. It plugs into usb. Easy.
