Helped my periodontal problem
I always thought I took very good care of my teeth: I used to brush my teeth 3 times a day (after breakfast, lunch and dinner), floss every day, and didn’t have any cavity since I was probably 15. However, I didn’t go to the dentist for regular cleaning for years. I was devastated when I was first told that I had a severe case of gum recession when I was only 30. Since then, I've been to 3 different periodontists and have had 3 surgeries: 2 tissue grafts and 1 bone graft. I now have my teeth cleaned every 4 months and use an electric brush (Sonicare) at night (I still use a manual toothbrush in the morning). About 3 years ago, many of my teeth still had 4–5 mm pockets, which scared me because I didn’t want to go through another surgery. I did some research and found that coenzyme Q10 (or its form Ubiquinol, which some say is absorbed faster and for that reason recommended for people over 25) can help fight gum disease. Although I have been told by different hygienists that gum recession could not be reversed, now I think coQ10 can. After over 2 years of taking Kaneka Ubiquinol (I usually take only one pill a day, and the pill is small, soft, and very easy to swallow), I’m glad to say that the pocket numbers have lowered to 2-3mm in most of my teeth and a couple 4mm. Also, there was one time last year when one tooth became very sensitive for no apparent reason. Neither my dentist or periodontist could find anything wrong with that tooth and recommended toothpaste like sensodyne. I knew sensodyne would just mask the problem, so I decided to take the Ubiquinol more consistently, and the sensitivity finally went away. I noticed that even if I skip it for several days or couple of weeks in a row, I’m fine, but if I don’t take it for more than 1 month or so, my tooth becomes sensitive again. Now, when I hear anyone complaining of gum recession or sensitive teeth, I tell them to try CoQ10 or Ubiquinol.

Great, Bioavailable CoQ10 Supplement from a Name You Can Trust
I take CoQ10 supplements for heart health. There is a very long history of cardiac disease in my family, probably largely due to the MTHFR mutation. I take the need to protect my heart very seriously. My younger sister, unfortunately, is already dealing with congestive heart failure. I hope to avoid many of those same issues, or at least prolong my currently healthy heart.Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that is found already in ever cell of your body. It helps break down free radicals, which are a byproduct of aging and disease. With age, though, and with many chronic diseases, natural levels of CoQ10 decrease. Promising results have been found with supplementation of CoQ10 in various forms for treatment of everything from heart failure to breast cancer. There are many different formulations of CoQ10 on the market today, with varying followings and evidence as to why their product is the most effective type or most bioavailable (in a form that the body can actually use).I love that this version has full information as to what type of CoQ10 is used, in this case it is Ubiquinol. Doctor's Best "Kaneka QH" is a patented version of Ubiquinol in which the coenzyme is already broken down to a more bioavailable form. They also have studies to back up why they believe that this formulation is a more efficient way to provide CoQ10 supplementation. Small, easily to swallow gel caps that have no offensive odor. It seems to give me energy and I simply feel better when I am on it. As I was trying to decrease the amount of supplements I took in a day, I stopped taking it for awhile. Well, I definitely missed it and am now back on CoQ10. This bottle is, for me, a 90 day supply.

No magnesium stearates and non-gmo! Take WITH food!
I really like that this does NOT have magnesium stearates and is Non-GMO! Ubiquinol is better absorbed that CoQ10. I take this for idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. It has been shown in studies that there is NO benefit to take HIGH doses for me, and the high dose bottle has stearates, so I'm more than happy to stick to the low dose.KanekaQH™ is ubiquinol, the reduced, active antioxidant form of Coenzyme Q10. Introduced in 2006, KanekaQH™ is the first supplemental form of bio-identical ubiquinol ever developed and is manufactured exclusively by Kaneka Corporation.Kaneka ubiquinol and Kaneka ubiquinone are produced via the same production method: a fermentation process using a food grade yeast. Ubiquinol is quite unstable and easily oxidized to the ubiquinone, even by simple exposure to the air. Kaneka is now able to obtain and keep ubiquinol stable for a long period of time. The Kaneka ubiquinol is transported under appropriate conditions under nitrogen gas to avoid oxidation. Also at the encapsulation process appropriate conditions can avoid oxidation and will guarantee high content of reduced CoQ10 in the capsules.Because ubiquinol is one of the strongest lipid-soluble antioxidant available, KanekaQH™ provides defense against oxidative damage to the body 's cells, including lipids, proteins and DNA. It also plays an essential role in cellular ATP (energy) production.ingredients: Ubiquinol(Kaneka QH reduced form of CoQ10), Extra virgin olive oil (non-GMO), medium-chain triglycerides, beeswax, rosemary leaf extract, sunflower lecithin, gelatin (capsule), glycerin, annatto (color)Ubiquinol (Keneka QH reduced form of CoQ10)............50 mgsuggested adult use Take 1 softgel daily WITH food.Softgel is 5/8th of an inch long and 3/8th of an inch wide.

It's coenzyme Q-10
This is CoQ-10. If you look it up, you'll find that it's essential to our health and life. Our bodies produce it when we're young, but when we get to be over 50, we make less and less of it. I take it and seem to be doing well so far. I'll turn 90 in September.
