CyberLink PowerDirector 20 Ultra & PhotoDirector 13 Ultra Duo (64-Bit)

Could not install. Returned 9.4.2022 and still sowing on it's way. Today is 1.5.2022. Wonder where it is being returned to.

I've used Cyberlink Powerdirector for over 4 years and although I've got used to many of it's ridiculously complex and confusing ways of working, I still hate it...but you don't have to believe me or wonder if my subjective opinion is accurate or not!All you need to do is visit the Cyberlink website and try to figure out some really easy stuff. Like the differences in their different offerings and what the price is for monthly subscription vs outright purchase and you'll see what I mean. If I was being kind I'd say it was confusing... and that reflects the software!I'm astonished people say the software is intuitive. It's intuitive to the Cyberlink developers but to the rest of us, it's like every other word is in Chinese. (For reference I've perfectly happy using Lightroom, Photoshop and many other complex products and so it's not me)Let's put it this way... I was willing to give Powerdirector another try on the basis that in the last five years and four upgrades Cyberlink had improved things but after forty minutes of trying to figure out how to upgrade I think my concerns were justified.To be fair, I've always managed to get what I wanted out of the software and it's relatively cheap... but I'm no longer prepared to spend hours trawling the net to find out how do stuff in a program that's so badly structured!
