Does this product fit a 2001 Pontiac Firebird 3.8 V6?

I dont know about your firebird. I bought it for a jeep. However I will suggest doing yourself a favor and go to a local parts store. Mine fell apart in 2 wks and Amazon was of no help returning it. The balancer at the local O'Reilly's was 20 bucks more but has been on and running perfectly for 14 months. Besides if it had fell apart I could've walked in and swapped it out for a new one. Check on Genuine GM parts, they back them with a warranty!

What is the country of origin?

The description said made in USA. When we received it it had made in another country. I can't remember but it was either Australia or Canada. Not too happy about that considering we went out of our way to look for something made in the USA. Hope this helps
