I really liked the sound. It sounds very good, just as I imagined, and it also has options for the voice. I really liked it.

sounds good, frequency are right, almost perfect tuning quality for a budget preamp, only thing missing is a bass frequency switch or nob and that still does not affect the power of the bass signal out put. thump up

Update , sadly like all of the eq units it packed up after nearly 2 years, all these units regardless of name and price have the same internal electronics, now purchased 3 different brands over the past 5 years all just simply develop problems Used on my boat to replace a failed Rockville EQ Unit that was twice the price. Its impossible to find a purpose made EQ for a boat so these work fine but the harsh environment on a boat especially in Florida trashes even so called marine electronics. So just change it every year

Everything about this little equalizer is good. Circuit board design, sound quality, size. There is one issue however and that is the instruction manual; in specific the manual does not refer to this model. There is a similar model with 7 bands listed. The real problem comes with the 3 pin power connector. The code for the connector on the unit is correct, but it could be a problem as the manual lists several other configurations for the 3 pin and none listed correspond to the unit itself. I have modified mine for home use and it sounds excellent.

I thought using this to separate frequencies would be a simple fix. Nope this thing is junk. Creates a hum that goes away when I simply eliminate this thing from the equation and bypass it. Hum is gone. Hook this stupid thing back up and I get stupid humming from speakers again. You get what you pay for.

It was draining my battery over night until I put a switch for it

Was having problems getting my whole system to work right. Turned all filters off amps and gain down to 1. Put this eq in preamp... voilla! I am now able to fine tune my system to perfection! Blue LEDs on knobs are sexy. 10 minute install. Clearly labeled hookups on unit. 5 stars!

Really happy with it. Was able to add a subwoofer to my home speakers from line out jack.

excellent EQ lows very clean. mids & hi all ride good on their own crossover sweet frequency setting. people please take your time when adjusting this EQ , am running this EQ & darm its work very very good after did the right setting.

works after repair, came with broken solder joint on PCB bass adjustment had to solder it back together works great now, fairly easy to take apart just few screws, also recommend adding glue to the parts to support them from moving around, not very sturdy, easy fix
