Cappadonna, an official member of Wu-Tang Clan, has had a storied career as one of Hip Hops elite lyricists. From the his debut on Raekwon's ONLY BUILT FOR CUBAN LINX (Platinum) to his appearance on Wu-Tang Forevers TRIUMPH (Platinum), Cappadonna has been able to capture two things that all rappers wish they could attain, namely critical acclaim and commercial success. Cappadonna's solo career started with the said success, as his debut album THE PILLAGE has been Certified Gold. Cappadonna is ready to continue in this vein with the release of his third proper release via Chambermusik Records namely, SLANG PROSTITUTION.

You know, I had to go back through the years to pick through every Wu LP that had Cap on the joint! Everything since the Cuban Linx's Ice Cream, dude, cap, never has a wack verse! It's crazy, because he usually comes before or after Meth, and Meth is ill, but Cap is like, "Nah, B, I got this!" and he does! Cap always shines on joint verses, and this album and the production is bananas! It's a shame that Cap doesn't get the promotion like everybody else. He's a deadly lyrical talent and Wu force not "F" wit!

Solid effort.
This is a strong LP and if you take the time to listen to this album you will like most of the stuff you hear. The album, with the exception of one or two tracks is Cappadonna's best work since the Pillage.

Another classic from Cappadonna
Cappadonna returns with his 5th solo album, and after taking a 5 year hiatus he dropped 2 albums in a 6 months span. Like th other review said, this is his best work since his classic 1998 solo debut, "The Pillage", and this one is also a classic. His "Yin & Yang" and "Cappaptilize Project" are lower 4 star albums and I'd give his "Struggle" a 4 star rating as well, but a notch above the other 2. On this one you get 16 songs (and 2 acapella freestyles), of the 16, 3 are classics, 1 is a near classic, 1 is ok, and the other 11 are good, with quite a few being really good songs. Guests are a little heavy, on 9 of the 16 songs, but it's nice to hear Cap again after his long break. Production is very nice as well. Digem Trax does 5 songs, 3rd Diglah and Q Dini each do 2, Rush, N.E.S., B.T., Soul Professor, Blastah Beats, G-Clef and Chicargo all do 1 song. Really average
lyrically it's okay and some of the beats are wack some favorites-Walk with me (only song that get's stuck in my head it really grew on me)-Do you remember )nice beat okay ryhmes(-lifes a gamble cappadonna verse doesn't really match up with rae's verse but good song-What's really up (cappa goes hard on this track but isn't that memable it's on this list beacause i've listened to this album like 10 times)-Sombody Got To GO (read someone who said that the horns make it hard to hear capp....it's still a hot beat and one of the best songs lyrically on the album)-Fire (masta killa verse is good but i just like the beat and the intro)-Stay shinning (good struggling song pretty good versesI say listen to it first before buying but it's still pretty good

alors la chapeau a mister cappadonna car cette album est vraiment bon du tres lourd au niveau des prod et pourtant pas de grosse pointure au credit mais de grosse prod comme je les aimes cappa est en forme l'album est vraiment meilleurs que celui sorti 6 mois avant vraiment foncer acheter celui la car c'est du gros son made in new york
