Handy commercial-kitchen-quality spoon hanging among my pots and pans
Vollrath is a long-time company in the food equipment industry. Their products are common in commercial kitchens everywhere. Although I do not have a commercial kitchen, I enjoy using quality tools. While this slotted spoon is no longer made in the USA (it was manufactured in India), the quality is still excellent and the design hasn't changed from the US-made spoon that I inherited from my uncle, who was a commercial chef. It's virtually indistinguishable from the old one. This slotted spoon is handy for straining, stirring, and for serving. It is a pleasure to use and I expect that it will last for many generations.
