So far pretty solid quality. The main issue is the small tank that empties out pretty quickly. Otherwise, they work as intended and for longer than your average torch.

I ordered this 5‑pack of butane torch lighters because I wanted to feel like a responsible adult who owns tools that do things. They arrived looking sleek, tough, and ready to blast a tiny flamethrower at anything that annoyed me… except they had one small problem: no gas. Not a drop. Not even fumes. These lighters showed up as dry as my sense of humor. Once I filled them, though? Absolute beasts. The jet flame could probably toast a marshmallow from across the room. The lock works, the flame adjusts smoothly, and the little fuel window lets me watch my butane disappear faster than my paycheck on Amazon. Honestly, for a pack of five, they’re great. Just remember: they show up empty, like a new employee on their first day — full of promise, but you’ve gotta give them fuel before they can actually do anything.

Initially I got all excited about these selections of small compact torches, until it waz delivered and I tried it out!! Whomp whomp whomp; what a total dud!! I was disappointed at how cheaply made these torches were cuz when I tried to flick the torch for the flames, the wheel was stuck and tight, making it a tough and bad impression on me already! It stalled my anticipation of using the torch like how I was expecting it would be simple to use! These torches were a piece of junk and I would not recommend it to anyone even thinking of buying it! Trust me on this one! It was poorly constructed and hence four of these torches for $24(at about $6 a pop), no wonder it was that affordable!! It’s a generic brand compared to the Scripto brand where for a torch like this one, goes for a lil’ less than $30 for one! That’s the difference in quality and durability!

This torch is so convenient and I've never replaced it for any other reason than having multiples in every corner of the house, and giving them to friends. Since it's a striker, with a flint instead of an electric spark, it never fails to light. The on-off switch is tough enough to be kept in a pocket without being accidentally tripped, although it can't always withstand being kept in a backpack or other bag with hard objects. I have only had it accidentally flipped into the "on" position once, and it was in a bag, with another lighter that must've hit it just right. I've also only dropped it once, while it was burning, and it was a frantic fumble, while simultaneously moving and praying that my homework didn't catch on fire. But, that could happen with any "locking" flame, if you're not using it with care. The flame isn't too hot, but an adjustable knob can turn it up or down to produce the heat that you require. I love this lighter and everyone who sees it in qction wants one of their own. I've purchased this 5 pack many times, and will continue to do so because of the value. You're gonna love it, so don't waste your money on the singles; spring for this pack. You won't be disappointed!

These are a very good quality lighter w/tough metal case. No buttons or loud clicks or spark ignitors running out of batteries with these lighters. Good ol flint strikers that don't have that annoying, loud, stupid click that most torch style lighters have. Just switch on the butane and hit the striker and it burns till you switch the gas off. It's a perfect size. Not big and clunky, but sleek and it just feels good. The gas tank has a window to see the level. It has a smallish tank, but it lasts long enough. Usually a lighter like this would cost around the same price as all 5 of these, so the value here is really impressive. I gave away 4 of the 5, so I will most def be ordering another round to have extras. They do come with flints, but I'd suggest you pick up a pack for when it does need a refill.

They are a little finicky and the fuel doesn’t last long but overall, I still like them

LOVE LOVE LOVE these lighters! I will buy them over and over again. I tend to lose them before they stop working… so that is a bonus I guess. I’ve only had one act up, and that was easily fixed with a pair of pliers and I just squeezed the spot where you replace the flint back into a tighter position. Since these don’t come with an emergency shut off or anything, you’ll want to be careful and mindful that you shut the fuel off prior to setting it down because you will regret it if you don’t. Seriously, these can be really dangerous if you aren’t careful ensuring the fuel is shut off!
