Julep When Pencil Met Gel Sharpenable Longwear Gel Eyeliner Pencil (Smoky Taupe Shimmer) High-Performance, Waterproof, Transfer & Smudge Proof Eyeliner

I have half a dozen of these now, they are easy to use, soft on the lid, draw smooth no snagging and last all day. They fix well, hold their colour and come off easily at the end of the day. I'm a 50 something woman with post menopausal skin, lines and a bit of drying around the eyes.The darker colours hold true for longer, the shimmer colours are lovely but do tend to fade after about 16hrs. The gold one tends to shed a bit but its a nice look and you can layer the shimmer colours over the darker ones after setting time, which gives it a nice look which lasts! A bit pricey for what they are but comparable to other brands. If you work in a hot busy environment like me - ward based - they are worth a go. They come singly, no sharper included, that's extra and IS pricey for what it is.

This is a really soft eyeliner pencil, that is easy to use and smudges nicely with a sponge applicator. They seem to have a very high colour pigment, so you only need a very light touch.

The shade terracotta matte is beautiful. It’s such an easy, natural looking eyeliner if you want a bit of definition, but nothing too harsh, as I have very pale skin, and even brown can look too intense for me sometimes. It’s a really great eyeliner for a day look. So easy to pop on, it’s really creamy, and doesn’t go on dry and skippy at all, so I’d say it’s just as good as any of the more expensive brands. You can blend it too before it sets. It stays put brilliantly, it lasts all day! And I have very oily eyelids. I also find it really easy to remove, just by washing my face. I have powered through the pencil quite quickly due to sharpening it, I would love this eyeliner in a retractable format. I haven’t found I’ve experienced any eye irritation at all with these. Brilliant eyeliner! So easy to use for a quick, no fuss, eye makeup look, so it’s very functional for someone like me that doesn’t want to fuss over makeup application for hours.

The package was nice. The pencil itself looks luxurious and the tip is soft enough and doesn't drag on the skin. I bought it because it claimed to be transfer and smudge proof. However I found it wasn't. I used it twice, in the early morning before work and didn't really look at my face all day and found panda eyes by the end of the day.I use an under eye moisturizer, I am not sure if that is contributing to lack of "fixing" to eyelid margins.

I bought one after someone recommended them. I've since bought 2 more. These are great eyeliners in a great range of colours. They go on well and don't budge or smudge. There's no fallout from the shimmer either. In fact they stay on so well, I've had to buy an eye makeup remover because my normal cleanser won't remove them completely. They definitely give the Spice Girl's range a run for their money and at a fraction of the price.

I was really looking forward to this eye pencil but it disappointed in nearly all respects. Firstly the colour is much lighter than it appeared and not nearly as pigment rich. It was pale and made my eyes look a bit sore. It did go on well, was easy to apply, so I applied lots! Within 2 - 3 hours it had almost completely worn off. Maybe I’m naive but I expected a bit more from an eye pencil that was over a tenner. The colours look so fab in this range, I was going to get another couple if this had worked out, but no way. Don’t waste your money people

Very good and stay on all day today

I've used a few of these pencils, and in general, they are easy to use, easy to sharpen and can be user for a defined line, or smudged for a more smokey look. Most of the colours are gorgeous too - I've got the golden green one and the graphite one which ate neuritis and shimmery. The baby one is also nice.I have given 4 stars as the cobalt one was much much brighter than it seemed in the picture which was a shame as it's not the colour I was expecting. Otherwise, a fab product.
