Capezio Leather Pirouette II Dance Shoe

bought for my daughters. DVD national Champs and DED!

These are great shoes, very very comfy for my girls. In case anyone is wondering, as I did, the size X-small fits my young girls perfectly. One wears 13/1 & the other wears 1-2 in regular shoes. These foot like second skin, no shifting & nothing poking their feet. We tried another brand here on Amazon first, just a bit darker in color, I think they were about $17. (If you've searched for pirrouette shoes here then you know what I'm talking about) It wasn't worth it to get those cheaper shoes... the part to adjust the size goes right into the size/bottom of the foot and drove my girls crazy. The leather was a bit thicker, probably better for longevity than these, but harder to "break in". These had zero break-in/adjustment time; no sores or places rubbed 'raw. Comfy on day 1, and used for both practice and performances on many different surfaces. I bought these last on Nov 8, back for re-order today (Feb 27) due to toe holes. That may seem soon, but these girls dance approx 3 days a week for sometimes 4 hour stretches of time. Worth every penny for happy, healthy feet. ;)

I needed a quick order for a recital, and these came the day after I ordered! Very quick arrival, good quality shoe, and lasted all 4 days perfectly (which is impressive for me lol) would buy again, except they're still in perfect condition so I don't need to! They're a little tight before you work them out, but that's normal so don't be worried unless they're choking your foot!

They look nice on my feet and the leather is so soft - which is a good thing! I only tried them on for a few minutes, but I can already tell it's exactly what I needed. I'm an US 8, so I ordered a large... the width is fine, but my long second toe is probably going to to break through if the leather can't be broken in. And if that happens, I still wouldn't be disappointed, I'll just order an extra large next time :) I'm just learning to pole dance, so I can't imagine I'll be excessively ruff on them; for the price, I only expect them to last a few months - all the better if longer! It also arrived earlier than expected.

Had to return. Return was easy at kohls and ups store tho. My daughter also didn't like the color as much but we new that going in and took it for the low price. Price increased tho when i tried to reorder so we are getting a different brand. We measured 9 inches on the foot drawing as directed. But her toenail was cutting through and would've been sore by the end of class. All 4 shoes we ordered (different brands)for her were size6 and 3 were returned for too tight. Tanjazz, black jazz and half soles. The ballet slippers were returned for 2 sizes too big. I've ordered 6.5 now,and 5.5 in ballets, but not sure of i even should've gone with 7. Shes a tall 11 yr old. This same thing happened last yr with a pair of black jazz shoes that i still haven't been able to resale but i was convinced by my daughter and a review that said they are sposed to be tight...Yea but not that tight! Error on the side of they run small esp for jazz shoes and this brand half sole.

My kid has big feet. I’m sure the next size up will fit 🤞

Super disappointed and frustrated with the quality of these. My daughter used these once for a 2 min dance performance. The second time she pulled them out for an all day competition she was warming up in them and the top completely ripped apart. Not even sure how other than it being a really thin material. I had to emergency sew them up to get through the day. Would not recommend these.

We have always found this brand of dance shoe the best, they last a long time and are very hard wearing.

I gave these a 5 star rating due to the quality of the shoe... but unfortunately even the largest size they come in did not fit my grand daughter who is normally a size AU/US 10. The largest size these came in was 10 - 11.5 but nowhere near long enough. At the time of purchase these were on a special deal of $24 so that was too hard to pass up on.

I love these! Not totally sure why but opposed to wearing socks or demis they've immediately improved my pirouettes! I have the same style in demis and love those too. My only complaint is that the size range is so great and I may be able to go a size down especially with them being leather but didn't want to bother with returns to try both and the fit seems good so far (though they are not broken in).
