Ahem. I do not sphage a "filthy home" as the reviewer below stated, but like these bowls.They have a great non slip grip edge in the bottom so it doesn't slide around the table top. My 2.5 year old eats soup and rice a lot(we eat Asian) and these bowls were great for a toddler learning to get all the food on her spoon. Mostly helpful when she gets to the bottom of her bowl and she's trying to scoop up every last bit of rice without spilling it all over the table. It scoops right back into the spoon.I'm not sure what the below reviewer was quite talking about, but I washed it clean with hot water and soft sponge. I'm sure it'd work great in the dishwasher as well. We don't microwave and use the bowl for soups, like i said, so we didn't really have food crusted onto it, though.Loss of one star just because from the picture and price, it does seem like they'd be a little bit heavier. The plastic was a tad on the lighter side, but doesn't take away from the functionality.

I purchased two of these bowls for my grandchildren, ages 18 months and three years old. These bowls are stable, sturdy, sized perfectly. Not one spill in months. Be careful heating foods in the microwave as some staining (tomato sauce) may occur.

How many times have you been sitting and reading and eating Cheetos and knock over the bowl and get orange dust everywhere? (a lot in my case). With these bowls, no more flying snacks! The really do stay in place. The colors are bright and cheerful and they are sturdy and top-rack dishwasher safe. What's not to like?

My kids and I like the bowls so much. It's easy for kids to learn how to feed themselves and it's big enough to keep good portion of food together.It's too bad that there's no more lid comes with it. Otherwise I'll order more for kids lunchbox.

We love these bowls - perfect to keep up with my four kids. We use them for breakfast fruit, snacks, and ice cream. Highly recommend!

LOVE these bowls....this is our third ones buying them. We use them for our cat to eat from. She likes to push the food up and over the other bowls onto the floor which means a lot of cleanup for us. With this bowl, not a bit goes onto the bowl so now our cat can get all the food she needs.

I bought these for my Mom as an eating aid. She has Parkinson's causing her hands to shake. The edge helps to ensure the food gets on the spoon. I find that items for kids frequently work well for the elderly with eating issues and are much cheaper than items designed for the disabled..
