This is a great mailbox for the price and simple to install.

Oops! I did not read the details. This is for a lightweight mailbox not for a larger metal one that I have. It looks great though. In the description it says it is for a lighter weight mailbox - I did not read this. Now mine is drooping like something needing a little blue pill. I have ordered the Mayne Manchester to properly hold my mailbox in a full upright position. Sigh - next time I will read the description a little closer and my mailbox will be happier.

This mailbox post cover is extremely thin and the support arm is as well. You can smash it in with your thumb. Also, the finish is aweful. Looks to be hazy finish in spots and spraypainted in others. Not great at all but Im going to use it because the price isnt bad and looks good from the neighbors house.

Item I received was a repack with inappropriate hardware. I needed to build up my existing 4x4 post to 6x6 dims so it fit snugly inside this post cover. I made it work because I had no time to wait for a return/replace but would not buy again. Finish is mottled with mold release agents that I hope rinse off in the rain over time.

This mailbox is extremely good looking and easy to install. After mounting the 4x4 post in concrete, the mailbox sleeve slides over the post with ease and the support bracket for the mailbox anchors the entire structure. Our Mayne mailbox post is the best looking one on our street.

Very flimsy not solid at all even when mounted..the arm has no side to side support may return..there is nothing but thin plastic to mount the mailbox to …this is a horrible design ….if the support arm for it was better it might work
