Power Distribution for Humvee
My local police department recently received two AM General HMMWV's from the US Department of Defense. I installed the lights ans whatnot on them for police service. This product was very useful in distributing my 12v DC power source. The build quality was excellent and the tin plated copper plate worked well as a conductor with very little resistance. Everything you need for this product is included except mounting hardware, I used 8 mm screws and they held everything in place well. Pretty straightforward product.

They came in one working day. The spec sheet in the on line ad had different dimensions then were delivered, better for me. The length is 6.1", 1.25" wide, and 1.434" high with cover in place. 1.4" without cover. The 1/4" studs are 1.35" apart. I am running at 96 amps it is spec'd for 150. There is enough room under the cover to put four large copper terminals on each of the two center studs and two on the end posts, that adds up to 12 connections if you need them. The plastic mounting hole appears strong enough to make this a nice part.

WRONG PART
IT IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS, RETURNED IT. THE BARS WERE A LITTLE TOO SHORT TO ATTACH ANY WIRES TO IT

I highly recommend this product
I wanted to reduce my RV battery box's rats nest so I decided to clean it up and install this bus bar. Let me tell you, this is a high quality bus bar made from quality materials! And, the Amazon price was 40% cheaper than buying it locally! I highly recommend this product!

This was the PERFECT component for me
I had a hard time finding what I needed at local auto parts and car audio stores. This was the PERFECT component for me. Installed a second battery bank and an amplifier. Made the grounding simple and organized.

Blue Sea makes a quality product but....
After four attempts to get a bar that comes with the cover, I give up. I think it is too easy for people to order these, remove the cover, and then return to Amazon. I have now received four of these, purchased from Amazon, and none of them had the cover included. I will find some other vendor to buy this super high quality product from.
